• Create strategic partnerships and coalitions of change across the community service industry, government, business and communities to drive and influence systemic change.
• Strengthen the skills of the community services industry in governance, leadership, advocacy and outcomes.
• Continue to build a diverse and engaged membership base.
• Identify and develop statements and policy positions and recognise the lived experience of poverty and inequality. • Lead the conversation to ensure that all public policy reflects human rights principles and practices and the Good Life framework
• Collaborate with the community services industry to identify and address risks, challenges and opportunities. • Work with the community services industry to support and coordinate initiatives to deliver a workforce for the future.
• Ensure efficient and contemporary systems and processes. • Ensure contemporary leadership and governance. • Develop the team and build a strong and cohesive organisational culture. • Increase flexibility through diverse revenue streams.
• Further develop Tasmanian data on poverty and inequality to support policy solutions.

TasCOSS is the peak body for the community services industry in Tasmania. We challenge and change the systems, behaviours and attitudes that create poverty, inequality and exclusion, to ensure all Tasmanians have equal opportunity to live a good life.
