Dear Friends, The Tabor community continued to be challenged last year by circumstances that made pivoting and adapting critical to upholding a living and learning experience that both energized and inspired students to navigate their high school experience in extraordinary ways. And like the year before, those on our campus and around the world came together in ways tangible and intangible, large and small, to lift the school to new heights. The Board of Trustees, alumni and alumnae, parents, faculty, staff, students, and friends yet again rallied in unified support of Tabor through record-setting generosity. A total of $5,949,132 was contributed across all funds last year, down from an exceptionally robust prior year of $7,279,137 in support, but near the threeyear average of $6.17 million. Most notable was the way in which donors continued to support Tabor's annual fund, the Fund for Tabor. For the first time, the $3 million plateau was surpassed through exemplary generosity (gifts totaled $3,026,038) to this vital source of support for operational excellence. Other highlights from the year: • The parent community showed tremendous generosity to Tabor as messages of engagement and volunteer opportunities were replaced by communications and updates on health and safety protocols; the sincere understanding, patience, and commitment to Tabor from this group was profound, evidenced in numerous ways. was the $661,906 contributed by current parents in support of essential priorities, mainly the Fund for Tabor. • Remaining connected to all of you was an essential component of our efforts this past year; and though we were unable to welcome reunion classes to campus, our Forecasters Series, featuring alumni and alumnae, offered expert perspectives and analysis on issues and industries via virtual gatherings—and will remain a part of our work this year, with expanded program options for young alumni and alumnae. And for those classes ending in 2s and 7s, we want nothing more than to welcome you back to campus for Reunion 2022. Mark your calendar now for June 10-12! The year ahead is one of incredible opportunity: Tabor welcomes new leadership in Head of School Tony Jaccaci and Board of Trustees Chair Regina Shakin, and we look forward to introducing them across the spectrum of audiences in virtual and in-person settings; our parent and alumni and alumnae leadership groups return from fully virtual functions to a more familiar—more personal–—way of engaging with one another and the school community; and we have begun to receive substantial support for a new campus center that will elevate and transform our already exceptional student experience through enhanced opportunities for collaboration and connectivity; and much more. To every member of the Seawolf family who included Tabor among your philanthropic priorities in a year in which it mattered so much, thank you.
