The Fall Festivals We observe many special days throughout the year. God wants us to learn from His feasts and rejoice in them. The first fall Holy Day is the Feast of Trumpets. And then soon after is the Day of Atonement. The Feast of Trumpets, like all of God’s fall Holy Days, shows us something that will happen soon. It pictures the time when Jesus Christ will come back to earth to bring His government. The sound of a loud trumpet will fill the whole world when He returns to earth. The Day of Atonement shows the time when Satan the devil, who deceives the whole world, will be bound for 1,000 years. This will bring all mankind back to God. Everyone will be “at one” with God. He will start to make the world new again. Satan is a spirit, and spirits cannot die. So God must bind Satan and put him away. God commands us to fast on the Day of Atonement. This means we are not to eat any food or drink any water for one whole day. The Feast of Tabernacles is a great festival of God. It pictures the Millennium. It is a 1,000 year period when Jesus Christ and the saints will rule the earth. 1

CHILDREN’S BIBLE LESSON
Those who cannot walk will be healed. They will be able to walk and run and jump. People who cannot see will be able to see clearly. Those who cannot hear will be able to hear all sounds and music. The animals will be changed. Lions and tigers will eat grass and hay, like cows do. Snakes will not be poisonous. All children will be able to play without fear of attack. Satan will not be around to deceive people, so everyone will be happy obeying God. For the Feast of Tabernacles, you and your family pack your clothes and belongings and travel to a place that God chooses. A tabernacle is a temporary dwelling (place to live). During this feast, God commands all of His people to rejoice! That means we are to have fun, be happy, learn God’s Way and practice living it. God also commands that we save a second tithe of all we earn so we can observe the Feast of Tabernacles. A tithe is one-tenth of the money we earn all year. This tenth is used to pay for traveling, housing, food and gifts during the feast. Be sure to save your second tithe so you can give to someone else during the feast. The Last Great Day is the final fall Holy Day. It is the feast day that directly follows the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles. This Holy Day pictures the time when everyone who has ever lived will be raised up from their graves and given new physical life to learn God’s Way. Can you imagine how happy everyone will be to see their relatives and family members who have died? God wants everyone to have the chance to learn His Way and be in His Family. Do you know someone who has died that you would like to see again? Perhaps a Grandfather or Grandmother? LEVEL K / FALL LESSON
