Cheese burger with Coleslaw A great filling burger with lots of bite. The cheeseburger patties complements the pickled cucumbers really well!
10 PEOPLE Ingredients -
10 Burger buns of choice 10 Grilling Cheese Burger slices 3 tbsp mayonnaise 3 tbsp ketchup 5 fresh tomatoes, sliced 20 pickled cucumbers 1 cucumber, sliced Green salad
Coleslaw -
3 carrots, shredded 1 kg white cabbage, finely chopped 3 dl yoghurt 1 dl mayonnaise 1 dl whole grain mustard Salt and pepper
Mix all the ingredients for the coleslaw in a bowl, set aside for serving. Fry the burger slices in oil until golden brown in color. Heat the burger bun in the oven. Remove and add mayonnaise, ketchup, burger patty, sliced tomato, sliced cucumber and a pickled cucumber. Serve with a side of coleslaw and an extra pickled cucumber. Pickled red onion -
Vinegar Sugar Bay leaves Salt and pepper 2 dl pickled red onion
Topping -
3 tbsp mayonnaise 5 fresh tomatoes, chopped 2 red chilli, chopped 3 bunch of parsley, chopped 3 organic lime, rind and juice 5 avocados Green salad

Pickled red onion: Boil one part vinegar, one part sugar and one part water with bay leaves and peppercorns. Add the sliced red onion and boil for 2 minutes. Remove the onions and pour into a sterilised jar. Boil the pickling liquid for a further 3 minutes before pouring over the red onions. Store in a cool place. Topping: Mix the tomatoes, chilli, lime, parsley and salt. Fry the grilling cheese and cut the avocado into slices. Layer the burger with mayonnaise, salad, grilling cheese, avocado, tomato salsa and pickled red onion.
