El diseñador de moda Pier Paolo Giordano ha preparado una colección exclusiva para un desfile organizado por SID CAN, organización sin ánimo de lucro dedicada a enfermos de cáncer y SIDA. Alejandra Alonso, la alumna más aventajada del profesor Giordano ha diseñado igualmente una colección Vintage para esta ocasión. El desfile benéfico se celebrará en la sala Moma 56 el próximo miércoles 2 de diciembre. Colaboran las modelos de la agencia Sara Studio y maquillaje de Estudio 24 de modo altruista.

The fashion designer is Pier Paolo Giordano there has prepared an exclusive collection for SID CAN, specially dedicated to cancer sufferers. Alejandra Alonso, the most outstanding master Giordano´s pupil has designed a collection Vintage for this time. The charitable parade will be celebrated in the Moma Club next Wednesday, the 2nd of December. There collaborate the models of the agency Sara Studio and Study 24 of an altruistic way.

El Certamen ha aumentado sus actividades para atender a varias etapas de la vida profesional de los creadores coreográficos, desde la plataforma para obras emergentes Gracias X Favor en colaboración con el Teatro Pradillo, hasta el nuevo proyecto europeo ChoreoRoam. The number of activities at the competition has increased in order to cover the various stages in the lives of the participating choreographers, and will range from the platform for emerging works Gracias X Favor in collaboration with the Pradillo Theatre to the new European project Choreo Room.

Tras el éxito alcanzado en su primera parada, Les Luthiers y sus Premios Mastropiero repiten temporada en Madrid. En este montaje, además de introducir algunos cambios en la tradicional estructura de los espectáculos del grupo, Les Luthiers presenta un nuevo instrumento: el alambique encantador.

Subsequent to the success attained on their first stop, During this staging, in addition to presenting certain changes in the traditional structure of its performances, Les Luthiers presents a new instrument: the enchanting still.

a ermita medieval de Santa Cruz acoge uno de los restaurantes con más encanto de Madrid.

Ubicada en pleno barrio de Barrio de las Letras, junto a la Plaza Mayor, la Capilla de la Bolsa nació con la idea de ofrecer un espacio de calidad en el que no faltara atractivo para todos los sentidos. El toque enigmático lo pone la relación de la ermita con la antigua orden de los templarios que sirve para dotar de un misticismo especial al local. Tras varios usos a nivel privado y laico, el edificio se convirtió en la primera bolsa de Madrid.

La bóveda barroca decorada con pan de oro y las columnas originales son algunos de los elementos que se han respetado en su actual rehabilitación, permitiendo al cliente disfrutar de cientos de años de historia con sólo pasear entre sus mesas. La bóveda cuenta con un original sistema de iluminación que permite, a través de cambios de color y movimiento, que el espacio logre distintos ambientes.

The Santa Cruz medieval chapel houses one of Madrid's most enchanting restaurants. Located in the heart of the Barrio de las Letras, next to the Plaza Mayor, the Capilla de la Bolsa was born out of the idea of offering a beautiful space which would appeal to all of the senses. The chapel's relationship with the ancient Order of the Templars, which serves to endow the restaurant with a certain special mystical air adds an enigmatic touch to the atmosphere. After having been put to a variety of uses, both secular and private, the building came to house Madrid's first stock market.

The Baroque vault, decorated with gold leaf and the original columns are some of the elements which have been left intact during its current restoration, allowing the customer to enjoy hundreds of years of history, just by meandering amongst its tables. The vault contains an innovative lighting system, which enables the space to assume different atmospheres, by way of changes in colour and movement.

Actualmente, el restaurante cuenta con capacidad para doscientos comensales distribuidos en tres plantas y en seis espacios diferentes que evocan otras épocas; al tiempo que no se olvidan de los detalles contemporáneos. El estudio "Juliet y amigos", con Emilio Galledo al frente, ha sido el responsable de una decoración basada en códigos de color y, a la vez, de integrar los elementos religiosos tradicionales que se han respetado. La sala La Capilla es el plato estrella de un espacio que sorprende a sus comensales por su espectacular diseño. Las restantes salas son Sala Abadesa, Obispo, Lucernario, Monseñor y Tentaciones, todas con un tamaño más pequeño, ideal para grupos reducidos.

Con las cenas de empresa y las comidas navideñas a la vuelta de la esquina, la Capilla de la Bolsa se presenta como una opción que no defrauda a los paladares más exigentes. Tacos de tomate raff con anchoas, perlas de mozarella y aceitunas negras a la emulsión de pesto, corvina a la parrilla con tallarines de sepia y orejones o la excelente hamburguesa de avestruz con foiè y frutas del bosque son algunas de las delicias que se encuentran en una carta variada, repleta de matices y, sobre todo, que cuenta con una exquisita elaboración. Tampoco dejan indiferentes los postres de carácter artesanal que combinan recetas originales con ingredientes exóticos. Un claro ejemplo son los fresones a la pimienta de Sechuan con helado de vainilla bourbon.

Carlos España es el jefe de cocina desde el año 2005 y con su llegada al local comienza una clara misión: desarrollar una cocina mediterránea tradicional y, a la vez, contemporánea que no oculta los verdaderos sabores y refleja la calidad de las materias primas empleadas.

The La Capilla hall is the star attraction in a space whose spectacular design leaves guests astonished. With company and Christmas dinners right around the corner, the Capilla de la Bolsa remains a choice which will not disappoint even the most discerning palates. Raff tomato tacos with anchovies, small mozzarrella balls and black olives in pesto sauce, grilled maigre with scuttlefish noodles and dried peach or the excellent ostrich hamburger with foie gras and fruit of the forest are some of the delicacies you will find on a varied, nuance filled menu, which is, above all, exquisitely elaborated. Lastly, you won't be able to resist the handcrafted deserts, which combine original recipes and exotic ingredients. A clear example are the Szechuan peppered strawberries with vanilla icecream and bourbon.

Carlos España has been the chef since 2005, and since the beginning, he has had a clear mission: to develop a traditional yet at the same time contemporary Mediterranean cuisine, which does not conceal its authentic flavours and which reflects the quality of the ingredients used.

Arropada por todo lo bueno que ha dado a lo largo de la historia el Mar Mediterráneo, Mallorca se ha convertido en un destino gastronómico muy especial. Los productos de la Isla han permitido que cada uno de sus rincones se pueda saborear, oler, tocar… una ruta pensada para que ninguno de nuestros sentidos se sienta menospreciado.

El contacto perenne con el mar tiene como consecuencia una mesa en la que el pescado se presenta con excepcional fuerza. Algunos, como la langosta, la gamba, el cabracho, el pescado de roca, la sepia, el Gallo de San Pedro, las sardinas o la llampuga, son una buena muestra de la diversidad que nos ofrece el mar para disfrutarla en la carta.

Con una materia prima excepcional y los valores de la dieta mediterránea es muy sencillo encontrarnos con recetas de una gran riqueza gastronómica.

Las condiciones de la Isla permiten que aún alejándonos del mar, los productos de la tierra nos dejen su sello particular.

Entre ellos destacan la berenjena y las variedades autóctonas de tomate (tomàtigues de ramellet) y pimentón (el pebre bord). En esta relación no podemos olvidar tampoco la producción de almendras e higos, la viña y los olivos.

Capítulo especial merecen los vinos de Mallorca. La calidad de todos ellos ha provocado que dentro del turismo gastronómico que llama la isla, haya sido el sector vinícola el primero en abrirse camino. Las variedades de uva tinta por excelencia en los vinos de Mallorca son la Manto Negro y Callet, casi siempre acompañadas de la cabernet, merlot y shiraz. En variedades de uva blanca encontramos la prensal blanc, casi siempre ensamblada con la chardonnay, la malvasía ocupa un lugar destacado e histórico. En Mallorca se producen excelentes vinos monovarietales. El reconocimiento de unas marcas de calidad identificadas con el territorio ha permitido organizar una serie de actividades turísticas muy atractivas en torno a este tema.

Visitar algún viñedo y conocer su sistema productivo, con sus diversos varietales, adentrarse en una bodega, participar en catas de vinos y, finalmente, llevarse el producto a casa representan interesantes atractivos para el viajero.

Las fincas también permiten disfrutar de propuestas de restauración entre viñas, así como de los alojamientos en que se han reconvertido las antiguas bodegas. Los propios consejos reguladores de las D.O. proponen rutas vitivinícolas relacionadas con el producto y los correspondientes establecimientos productores y vendedores.

Mallorca's wines are worthy of their own chapter. As a result of their quality, amongst all of the forms of gastronomic tourism which draw people to the island, it is the wine sector which was the first to take off. The red grape varieties par excellence found in Mallorca's wines are the Manto Negro and the Callet, almost always accompanied by the cabernet, merlot and shiraz. White grape varieties include the prensal blanc, almost always associated with the chardonnay; the malvasia is an outstanding grape with a long historical tradition. Excellent monovarietal wines are produced in Mallorca.

The awarding of a number of quality labels to the region have made it possible to organize a quite attractive series of tourist activities centred around this theme.

Some of the activities which will appeal to the visitor include visits to vineyards, with an opportunity to get acquainted with their production systems and different varietals, tours of winecellars, along with wine tasting and finally the chance to take some home. The vineyards also offer the opportunity to enjoy catering amongst the vines, as well as lodging in converted wineries. The Designation of Origin supervisory councils themselves propose productrelated winery tours, along with their corresponding production centres and merchants.

Éste es un año especial en las Bodegas Ramón Bilbao. Se cumplen diez años desde que entró a formar parte del Grupo Zamora. Una década en la que se han ido cumpliendo los objetivos. Las bodegas se han renovado y ofrecen novedosas instalaciones, el viñedo ha crecido de modo considerable, y todo ha provocado un perfil más acorde con los tiempos. Un camino al éxito relatado por las decenas de premios cosechados, que han culminado con el nombramiento de Mejor Bodega por el Grupo Gourmets en este 2009.

Algunos datos pueden explicar este crecimiento. En 1999 se contaba con cerca de 5.000 barricas, a día de hoy las bodegas son 15.000; hace diez años el viñedo se extendía en dos hectáreas, hoy son setenta y casi quinientas sobre las que se tiene control.

La gama de vinos se apoyaba en los caldos jóvenes, la renovación cambió la perspectiva, centrando la producción en torno a la marca principal "Ramón Bilbao" en sus vertientes clásicas de crianza, reserva y gran reserva, siempre manteniendo el respeto por "Viña Turzaballa", la marca más antigua de la casa. El paso de los años permitió la entrada de vinos de inspiración más moderna, como el Edición Limitada de Ramón Bilbao. Posteriormente llegó la joya de la corona: Mirto. La culminación a un camino en el que se ha buscado que el fruto recobre la vida dentro de la copa. Objeto de admiración y premios, Mirto afrontará en breve una nueva etapa con sus instalaciones independientes en la familia Ramón Bilbao.

This is a special year in the wineries of Ramón Bilbao. It has been ten years now since it became a part of the Zamora Group. A decade where objectives had been fulfilled. Both the wineries and its facilities have been renewed, the vineyards have grown in a quite significant way, and all these things have caused a profile according to nowardays. A way to success related by the uncountable prizes given, which have culminated with the appointment as the Best Winery by the Gourmets Group during 2009.

The growth can be explained by data: if the winery had almost 5000 barrels in 1999, nowardays it has 150000; ten years ago the wineyard took up two hectares, they have increased to 70 ha.and almost five hundreds controlled by the company.

In the beginning, the range of wines was helded by young wines; the renovation changed the perspective by focusing the production of the main brand, Ramón Bilbao, in its classical side, the aging, the vintage and the big aging wines, keeping always the respect about Viña Turzaballa, the oldest brand of the company. The entry of more modern inspiration wines was allowed by years going by, as for example the Ramon Bilbao Limited Edition. The crowning jewel, Mirto, arrived latter. That was the culmination of a way in which the company tried to give a re-birth of the fruit inside the wineglass. Mirto, being the object of admiration and prizes, will soon face a new stage, with independent facilities in the Ramón Bilbao family.

Nuestro paseo vinícola y gastronómico tiene que tener parada obligatoria en las tierras andaluzas. En sus ocho provincias, Andalucía aglutina veintisiete Denominaciones de Origen Protegidas (DOP), nueve Indicaciones Geográficas Protegidas (IGP), dieciséis Vinos de la Tierra y dos Vinos de Calidad con indicación geográfica que convierten sus tierras y costas en un perfecto manual para convertirse en un experto en alimentación.

Vamos a detenernos en un cuarteto perfecto y que se conjuga a la maravilla: los vinos, el jamón, el cordero y los dulces andaluces.

La tradición bodeguera andaluza se remonta muchos siglos atrás. Sus uvas, especiales sin duda, y fruto de un trabajo cuidadoso han dado como fruto unos vinos magistrales capaces de acoplarse en cualquier mesa y que se convierten en un pasaporte a nuevas experiencias.

La Denominación de Origen Protegida 'Condado de Huelva', reconocida en 1962, la situamos al sureste de la provincia, enmarcada en dieciocho términos municipales.

Blancos, generosos, generosos de licor, vinos de licor y tintos son la tipología de vinos amparados por la DOP 'Condado de Huelva'.

Mirando a Jerez encontramos las Denominaciones de Origen Protegidas 'Jerez-Xérès Sherry' y 'ManzanillaSanlúcar de Barrameda', una tradición que se remonta a la época de los fenicios. Sus vinos se extienden en ocho localidades de la provincia de Cádiz y en Lebrija, en la provincia de Sevilla. Los vinos protegidos por estas menciones de calidad son vinos Generosos, Generosos de Licor y Dulces Naturales. La DOP 'Jerez-Xérès-Sherry' nace en 1933 y en 1964 aparece la DOP 'Manzanilla-Sanlúcar de Barrameda'.

Our gastronomic and wine tour would be incomplete without a visit to the Andalusian countryside. Andalusia's eight provinces boast twenty six Protected Designations of Origin (PDO), nine Protected Geographical Indications (PGI), sixteen Country Wines and two Quality Wines with geographical indications, making the Andalusian countryside the perfect setting in which to become hone your food expertise.

We will focus on a flawless quartet, whose players make beautiful music together: Wines, ham, lamb and andalusian sweets.

Andalusia's wine producing tradition goes back many centuries. Its grapes, the privileged result of careful cultivation practices, have been transformed into great wines capable of making a valuable contribution to any meal, while providing a passport to new horizons.

The Protected Designation of Origin "Condado de Huelva," was recognized in 1962; the region, lying in the southeastern part of the province, includes eighteen municipal areas.

White wines, dessert wines, quality liqueur wines, liqueur wines and red wines make up the typology protected by the PDO "Condado de Huelva."

In Jerez, we find the Protected Designation of Origins, "Jerez-Xeres Sherry" and the "Manzanilla-Sanlucar de Barrameda," a tradition going back to Phoenician times. Its wines are spread out across eight regions in the province of Cadiz and in Lebrija, in Seville province. The wines protected by these quality designations include dessert wines, quality liqueur wines produced in specific regions, as well as wine from grape must in fermentation extracted from raisin grapes (Dulces Naturales). The PDO, "Jerez-XeresSherry," originated in 1933 and the PDO, "ManzanillaSanlucar de Barrameda," appeared in 1964.

Las Denominaciones de Origen Protegidas 'Málaga' y 'Sierras de Málaga' tienen su origen en la provincia del mismo nombre. La zona de producción abarca numerosos municipios malagueños. Dentro de la DOP 'Sierras de Málaga', se distingue la subzona de la "Serranía de Ronda". El Consejo Regulador de la DOP 'Málaga' nació en 1933 mientras que 'Sierras de Málaga' lo hizo en 2001. Y desde entonces, bajo su reglamento han nacido multitud de vinos muy variados.

Una gama excelente entre la que podemos encontrar los vinos de licor, los naturalmente dulces, o las menciones tradicionales de Lágrima y Pajarete, bajo el amparo de la DOP 'Málaga', y los vinos blancos, rosados o tintos elaborados bajo la DOP 'Sierras de Málaga'.

La DOP 'Montilla-Moriles' ampara diecisiete municipios de la campiña sur cordobesa y protege vinos generosos, blancos y dulces, dentro de los dulces destaca el singular Pedro Ximenez. La DOP 'Montilla-Moriles' fue reconocida en 1945.

Además de las distintas DOP en cuanto a los vinos se refiere, Andalucía cuenta con el Vino de Calidad de Granada, el Vino de Calidad de Lebrija, y dieciséis Vinos de la Tierra. Estas menciones de calidad están acompañadas de una indicación geográfica, lo que le confiere al vino reconocido por tal, el derecho a llevar un "apellido" que le diferencia en los mercados, con la condición de que su calidad esté certificada.

Lejos del mundo de los caldos, pero compartiendo mesa, encontramos el jamón y el cordero.

El jamón es uno de los grandes tesoros de la gastronomía andaluza. En este sector podemos encontrar en Andalucía dos Denominaciones de Origen Protegidas y una Indicación Geográfica Protegida (IGP).

The Protected Designations of Origin, "Málaga," and the "Sierra de Málaga" originated in the province of the same name. The production area includes numerous municipalities in Malaga province. The subzone "Serrania de Ronda" lies within the PDO, "Sierras de Malaga." The "Málaga" PDO Supervisory Council came into existence in 1933 while "Sierras de Málaga" originated in 2001. Since then, a large number of quite distinct wines have been created under their regulations. The "Málaga" PDO, which includes liqueur wines, naturally sweet wines, as well as the traditional names of Lágrima and Pajarete, and the "Sierra de Málaga" PDO, which includes white wines, red wines and rosé wines, comprise an excellent range of wines from which to choose.

The PDO "Montilla-Moriles" includes seventeen municipalities in the southern Cordobesan countryside and covers dessert wines, white wines and sweet wines; one of the highlights from amongst the sweet wines is the singular Pedro Ximenez. The "Montilla-Moriles" PDO was recognized in 1945.

In addition to the different wine PDO's, Andalusia also boasts the Granada Quality Wine, the Lebrija Quality Wine, and seventeen Country Wines. These quality distinctions come with a geographical indication, which means that the wines honoured with this label can be sold under a "name" which distinguishes them when they are marketed, provided that their quality is certified.Far away from the world of wine, but sharing the same table, we find ham and lamb.

Ham is one of the great treasures of Andalusian gastronomy.

In this sector, we find two Protected Designations of Origin and one Protected Geographical Indication (PGI).

La DOP 'Jamón de Huelva', inscrita en el registro comunitario en 1998, abarca 31 municipios de la Sierra de Huelva.

Presenta al corte, un jamón con numerosas vetas de grasa entreveradas entre su carne magra, cuyo color fluctúa entre el rosa y el rojo púrpura, según su grado de curación y envejecimiento. La DOP 'Los Pedroches' enmarca su zona de producción en 32 localidades de la zona norte de la provincia de Córdoba y fue reconocida por la Junta de Andalucía en 2006.

En Granada el jamón lleva el nombre de Trevélez. La IGP 'Jamón de Trevélez' abarca los municipios de la Alpujarra alta. Unos parajes de una belleza particular que dan unos jamones de aspecto rojo y brillante en su corte. La IGP se inscribió en el registro en 2005.

La IGP 'Cordero de las Sierras de Segura y la Sagra' está aprobada desde julio de 2008 y protege la carne fresca obtenida a partir de los corderos (macho o hembra) procedentes de la raza ovina "Segureña" de la zona geográfica especificada.

Degustados el jamón, el cordero y el vino, llega la hora del postre. Andalucía tiene reconocidas dos IGP en este sector: 'Alfajor de Medina Sidonia' y 'Mantecados de Estepa'.

Dos productos artesanales que seguro ocupan nuestras mesas en las próximas fechas. La IGP 'Alfajor de Medina Sidonia, aprobada en 2004, protege este tradicional dulce elaborado de forma artesanal con miel pura de abeja, almendras, avellanas, harina, pan rallado y especias. Por su parte, la IGP 'Mantecados de Estepa' ampara mantecados, polvorones, alfajores y roscos de vinos desde su aprobación el pasado mes de septiembre de este mismo año.

The "Jamón de Huelva" PDO, registered in the community register in 1998, includes 31 municipalities in the Sierra de Huelva. This PDO presents a ham with numerous streaks of fat which criss-cross its lean meat, whose color varies between pink and purple-red, depending on its degree of curing and aging. The "Los Pedroches" PDO production area spans 32 localities in the northern portion of Cordoba province and was recognized by the Council of Andalusia in 2006.

In Granada, the ham is sold under the Trevelez brand name.

The "Jamón de Trevelez" PGI includes the municipalities of the high Alpujarra. These areas include beautiful landscapes which provide hams with a bright red cut. The PGI was entered into the registry in 2005.

The "Cordero de las Sierras de Segura y la Sagra" PGI was approved in July 2008 and covers fresh lamb meat obtained from males and females of the "Segureña" sheep breed in the specified geographical area.

Now that we have indulged in ham, sheep and wine, it's time for desert. Andalusia has two recognized PGIs in this sector: "Alfajor de Medina Sidonia" and "Mantecados de Estepa."

Two traditiional products which will surely appear at our dining tables during the upcoming holidays. The "Alfajor de Medina Sidonia" PGI, approved in 2004, covers this traditional sweet crafted with pure bee honey, almonds, hazel nuts, flour, bread crumbs and spices. For its part, the "Mantecados de Estepa" PGI has covered mantecados, a traditional Christmas sweet made mainly from lard, polvorones, a floury sweet made with almonds, alfajores, a type of candy or cake, and roscos de vino (wine cakes) since its approval last September.

Muchas cosas han pasado y muchas añadas diferentes se han recogido desde que en 1890 Román y Fortunato Artacho apostaran por la creación de Bodegas Riojanas en la localidad de Cenicero. El objetivo de unos caldos crianza y reserva de calidad, ha quedado satisfecho desde hace mucho tiempo.

Con la imagen de Francia en la cabeza y teniendo como referente los Chateux, hasta 1933 fue determinante la ayuda de los técnicos franceses. Este sello inicial ha permanecido más de un siglo, y se percibe en cada uno de los vinos de Bodegas Riojanas. Las primeras menciones y premios, el primer Gran Premio de Honor recibido en Argentina (1911) o el Diploma de Honor concedido en Logroño (1934) certifican la calidad de la bodega en sus primeras décadas.

Bodegas Riojanas aplica su centenaria experiencia de cultivo, su sistema tradicional de recolección, su sistema de lagares con uva entera y la tecnología más avanzada para crear sus vinos a partir de estas variedades. La producción total ronda los 3 millones de litros anuales.

Much has occurred and many years have passed since in 1890 Román and Fortunato Artacho gambled on the creation of Bodegas Riojanas in the town of Cenicero. Their goal, which was the creation of quality crianza and reserva wines (wines which have been aged for at least two and three years respectively), was attained long ago.

The image of France in the heading and the fact that the Chateux serve as a reference illustrate the fact that until 1933, French technicians rendered invaluable aid. This original seal remains after more than a century, and makes its presence felt in each and every one of the wines produced by Bodegas Riojanas. The first honourable mentions and awards, the first Grand Premio de Honor received in Argentina (1911) or the Diploma de Honor awarded in Logrono (1934) attest to the quality of the winery in the early decades.

Bodegas Riojanas applies its one hundred years of growing experience, its traditional harvesting system, its wholegrape pressing system and the most advanced technology to create wines from these varieties. Its total production stands at approximately 3 million litres annually.

La bodega original ha sufrido ocho remodelaciones que quedan coronadas por el torreón de un castillo modernista. Las instalaciones se han convertido en una zona experimental con la más alta tecnología, donde se elaboran caldos excepcionales como el Gran Albina, y un salón de actos múltiples que sirve de punto de reunión para empresas, cursos de distintas universidades y todo tipo de actos sociales y culturales organizados por Bodegas Riojanas.

Actualmente existe otra bodega en San Vicente de la Sonsierra, a 20 Km. de Cenicero. Su capacidad de producción es de 1.500.000 Kg. de uva al año con un parque de 5.000 barricas. Además, Bodegas Riojanas posee otra bodega en la D.O. Toro, Bodegas Torreduero S.A. El mejor exponente de la casa es el Gran Albina tanto en su versión Vendimia como Reserva. Elaborado a partir de una selección manual de las uvas tempranillo, mazuelo y graciano de viñedos viejos de los mejores pagos de Cenicero, se muestra como un gran vino pleno de aromas y gran estructura.

The original winery has been remodelled eight times, culminating in its crowning with a modernist castle tower. The installations have been converted into an experimental area boasting the most innovative technology, where exceptional wines such as the Gran Albina are made, and also contain a multi-purpose assembly hall which serves as a corporate conference centre, as a classroom for courses offered by different universities and as a space in which to hold all types of social and cultural events organized by Bodegas Riojanas.

Another winery currently exists at San Vicente de la Sonsierra, 20 Km away from Cenicero. Its production capacity stands at 1,500,000 Kg of grape per year with a repository containing 5,000 casks. In addition, Bodegas Riojanas has another winery in the D.O. Toro, Bodegas Torreduero S.A. The winery's best representative is the Gran Albina, both in its Vendimia and Reserva versions. Created from a handpicked selection of tempranillo, mazuelo and graciano grapes from old vineyards in Cenicero's best vineyard terrain, it has proven to be a great wine, with a great structure and full bodied aroma.

La localidad cordobesa de Montilla se convertirá entre el 26 y el 29 de noviembre en el epicentro vinícola y gastronómico de toda Andalucía. La celebración de FeviandTur reunirá a más de 70 empresas del mundo del vino, gastronomía y turismo.

Esta cuarta edición apuesta por batir los números de las pasadas citas. En un espacio de más de 9.000 metros cuadrados se concentrarán las principales firmas del sector enoturístico para dar a conocer su perfil profesional y lúdico.

Uno de los alicientes de la edición del 2009, es la inclusión en el programa de actividades el de las Jornadas de la Gastronomía de Andalucía, que contarán con la participación de destacados profesionales de diferentes nacionalidades, así como de críticos gastronómicos y de medios de comunicación especializados. From November 26 to November 29, the Cordobesan town of Montilla will become the wine and gastronomic epicentre for all of Andalusia. The Feviandtur celebration will bring together over 70 companies from the world of wine, gastronomy and tourism.This fourth edition expects to break records in terms of numbers of participants with regard to previous years. Gijón se presenta de nuevo. La ciudad "que más se quiere", según un reciente estudio, se ha puesto un nombre.

Los valores, de sobra conocidos, de este acogedor enclave del norte peninsular quedan encerrados en tres palabras: Asturias con sal.

Gijon introduces itself again. The city "that loves itself more", according to a recent study, has called itself. The perfectly known values of this hospitable place of the peninsular north remain enclosed in three words: Asturias with salt.

This introduction does not suppose a radical change in the city. Gijon continues being the same Gijon, with all the good things that, through its history, has helped it to conquer the traveler who stopped one evening in its streets. Destaca por los pescados y mariscos del mar que baña su costa. Por ejemplo, la célebre caldereta es un plato emblemático compuesto por una mezcla de estos productos de la mar, pero no hay que olvidar los pescados como el besugo, la chopa o el rey condimentados de diversas maneras y otros más modestos como las sardinas asadas o a la plancha y las más pequeñas aquí conocidas como parroches.

La tradicional fabada asturiana, el pote o la menestra son platos contundentes que se pueden complementar con una rica repostería local.

Como no podía ser de otra manera, los hosteleros de Gijón se vuelcan con el turista que acude en busca de experiencias culinarias de primera. El puente de diciembre los restaurantes gijoneses ofrecen, durante los días del 4 al 8 de Diciembre, menús a base de platos tradicionales como Patatas rellenas, Bacalao a la Sidra y Manzana asada. Una cita, sin duda, que merece la pena tener en cuenta.

Un apartado especial merece la sidra, la bebida tradicional asturiana, producto de la manzana y consumida en unos bares conocidos como sidrerías o chigres. La sidra debe beberse en esos chigres (que están repartidos por el centro de la población, en sus barrios y en su entorno rural) entendiendo que es de baja graduación alcohólica y que el ritual exige escanciarla, es decir, dejarla caer sobre el vaso de fino cristal desde cierta altura. Con ello se consigue que la sidra, al batirse, se oxigene y adquiera el sabor óptimo.

Al día siguiente de que Jaime, al fin, se decidiera a esconder entre los libros de Carolina las palabras de Nico, ella apareció con gesto serio.

No sonreía, no hablaba apenas, sólo asentía obligada como si quisiera desaparecer.

-Menudo mosqueo tiene -dijo Jaime -. Olvida lo de los poemitas, no ha sido una buena idea.

Pero para Nico era demasiado tarde. Se marchaban todos juntos al salir de clase y luego él regresaba secretamente para dejar las cuartillas anónimas en el cajón de su pupitre.

Desde entonces, Nico empezó a escribir para Jaime todos los días. Veía a Carolina darse la vuelta y alzar la mano, y levantarse y mirar hacia ellos por casualidad. Y después la veía sonreír y Jaime le tocaba en el hombro y susurraba: "¡Has visto, has visto!".

"Creo que me estoy volviendo loco por Carolina", decía la nota. Venía escrita en un desgarrón de papel en cuyo dorso figuraban fórmulas de la clase de Matemáticas. Jaime se sentaba detrás de Nico y Carolina a las once menos cinco. Al terminar la clase de Lengua, Jaime se apoyó con los codos en la mesa de su amigo.

-Mírala -dijo -. ¿No es preciosa?

Nico escribió algo en una hoja y se la dio.

-"El pelo castaño flotando sobre los hombros, como una caricia…". Pensará que soy un idiota si le doy esto - dijo Jaime.

-Carolina nunca se reiría de algo así. Le gustaría… si alguien se lo diera…
