The petrochemical industry is the heart and soul of Texas City and La Marque. It defines what we do and where we live in our community. Some may take for granted the important role that industry plays in the life of our two cities. But the number of direct jobs at major industry is in the thousands, and the number of indirect jobs is innumerable. Virtually all businesses in this area depend on the strong
economy that is generated by the local plants.
The Industrial Trade Show is hosted by the Texas City-La Marque Chamber and the City of Texas City Economic Development Corporation, along with presenting sponsor Valero, to bring people together to make valuable connections for their businesses. Meeting a new contact or reconnecting with a client is what the event is all about.
What happens at the Industrial Trade Show?
Guests will learn about the latest industrial trends, gain competitor insights, and make key industry contacts to solidify customer relationships.
For those Chamber Members who do business with industry, this is a unique event to enhance your brand and product visibility, promote new and existing products, generate leads and drive sales.
Potential buyers, including large corporations from the Galveston County area will be in attendance. The trade show features all sectors of the local industrial community. It’s a perfect opportunity for Chamber members to exhibit or attend — plus invite colleagues from engineering, maintenance, operations, purchasing and general business to discover what this mar-

The Texas City-La Marque employees, Vice President Stefanie Aldrich, Director of Operations Lauren Kaiser, Director of Communications Marielle Mascorro, and Director of Membership Bianca Jenson were able to attend the Center for Chamber of Commerce Excellence (CCCE) conference at Texas A&M University February 5-8.

BUSINESS OF THE MONTH
TnT Signs & Graphics
2212 Palmer Highway, Texas City 409-945-7446
Tom Bond and Todd Nolte opened TnT Signs & Graphics in 2004. TnT Signs wanted to focus on local businesses, small and large, giving everyone the best quality product they could do each time.
Now nearly 20 years later, TnT Signs did not anticipate the amount of support and business that the Texas City community and TCLM Chamber would give them, and how interwoven business and personal lives are in this excellent community.
TnT Signs has become a thriving business since its opening, and the majority of the employees have been with them since opening.
When they drive around town, their work can be seen everywhere, from the refineries to the schools, flower shops and to the beauty salons. With Todd’s 2022 retirement and a refocus on core elements of the sign industry, TnT Signs looks forward to another 20 years of serving this community.
“We can’t thank the TCLM Chamber and local business enough for their faith and support these years,” TnT Signs staff said.
TnT Signs & Graphics is a long-time dedicated supporter of the Chamber of Commerce. Kudos to this Business of the Month!
