THE ULTIMATE LAW OF ATTRACTION By Tony Dolceamore

The Law of Attraction is the name given to the notion that “like attracts like” which sums up the idea that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts, a person brings positive or negative experiences into their life. I believe that in order for the Law of Attraction to work for us in business, we need to take those positive thoughts and add to them, positive actions. So the questions becomes, “What positive actions are you taking to attract more business?” As THE WILL TO 2015 is coming to a close, now is the time to begin thinking WIN IS NOTHING about your business plan for 2016. If you want to do better, WITHOUT THE WILL TO PREPARE you need to prepare to do better. When thinking about and executing your business TO WIN plan for 2016, don’t just think about it in terms of “Doing ­—Vince Lombardi More” (i.e. more marketing, more contracts, leads to more Coach of the Green Bay Packers, 1959 - 1967 business). Think about and execute on “Doing Better.” In the game of real estate, if you want to win more business, you need to get better at your craft. When was the last time your agents studied their listing presentation, or even updated it for that matter? When was the last time you trained them on their value proposition? The better they get at delivering their listing presentation, the more it will become a “conversation” and not a presentation. A presentation is a monologue. Monologues are one sided. A conversation is a dialogue. A dialogue is an interaction or exchange of ideas or opinions. In this conversation, in order for your agents to truly set themselves apart from your competitors, you need to be sure they are articulating their value as agents and the value of your company, as well as the value of the Sotheby’s International Realty brand. Think about it and be honest. Are they really articulating value? To me, the Law of Attraction is illustrating and providing VALUE. If your agents are known by their clients as a person of VALUE, they will consistently and continually attract more business. As a leader of your organization, now is the time of year for you to sit with your agents and get them to think about and take action on a plan for 2016 so they do better at articulating value, The Ultimate Law of Attraction.
