| AMON G. CARTER STADIUM

It is standard practice among our peer institutions to require an annual seat donation for select season-ticket locations. In many cases, seat donations cover 75% to 100% of the stadium’s total seating capacity. The revenue produced is then often used to subsidize new facilities, pay salaries, or even pay down previously acquired debt. TCU is different. Our focus is on funding scholarships for our student-athletes. Last year we were able to raise approximately half of the funds necessary to meet the $12 million dollar annual scholarship bill that covers the cost of tuition, fees, books, and room and board for more than 400 student-athletes receiving some type of financial aid. This is because TCU, unlike every other major college football program, has never used a “preferred” or “priority” seating program for football that linked select seat locations with seat donations. These types of programs are a proven way to encourage annual charitable giving.

Beginning with the 2012 football season, TCU will implement the TCU Scholarship Seating Program. This program is an annual seating program for football consisting of eight different donation levels ranging from $25-$300 located on both the East and West sides of Amon G. Carter Stadium. The program will encompass approximately

Since 1999, TCU is the only football program that has competed in a Bowl Championship Series (BCS) Game that did not have a required seat donation associated with select season ticket purchases in 2011. 12,500 seats and link monetary donations with select seat locations for the first time ever at TCU. All annual donations generated from the program will provide valuable financial support for student-athlete scholarships.

The TCU Frog Club oversees the annual giving program for the Athletic Department and will administer the Scholarship Seating Program. Participating in the program is easy. When you select your season tickets (please see 2012 Amon G. Carter Stadium Seating Plan procedures), you will have the option to choose seats within the Scholarship Seating Program based on availability at the time of your selection. When you purchase your tickets, if a seat donation is attached, you will be required to pay it along with the ticket price at the same time. You will have the opportunity to renew the seats you select each year at the time of season ticket renewals.

count toward TCU Frog Club membership for the 2012-13 academic year but do not count toward other TCU Frog Club benefits such as football donor parking or sports-specific booster groups (i.e., Men’s or Women’s Fast Break Club for Basketball or Diamond Club for Baseball). You will also accumulate valuable Horned Frog Priority Points with your seat donation (please see updated information on the Horned Frog Priority Points System).

SCORE BIG TAX DEDUCTIONS FROM YOUR SEAT DONATIONS For the first time ever, TCU Football season ticket holders who participate in the Scholarship Seating Program will receive tax benefits when they purchase season tickets. All donations made through the Scholarship Seating Program can be itemized as a charitable contribution on your Federal Income Tax Return and are 80% tax deductible. As with all other situations that potentially impact your taxes, please consult a qualified tax professional for advice on your income tax return.

All Scholarship Seating Program donations are considered “unrestricted contributions” to the TCU Frog Club and

AMON G. CARTER STADIUM. THE SEATING PLAN. The 2012 Amon G. Carter Seating Plan will begin March 2012 and will be based on the Horned Frog Priority Points System Rankings as of June 1, 2011. All season ticket holders will be given a seat selection number and a designated date and time to personally select their seats. In order to participate, all season ticket holders must complete the enclosed Response Form indicating preferences as to (1) seat selection method and (2) group seating opportunities. Current season ticket holders will have the opportunity to renew the number of season tickets they had in 2011 plus up to four (4) additional seats (i.e., if you had two (2) season tickets in 2011, you can get up to six (6) tickets in 2012). TCU Athletics and the TCU Frog Club staff have spent the last two years creating a fair and simple plan for Horned Frog fans to select their football season tickets in the newly redeveloped Amon G. Carter Stadium. Everyone who qualifies will be given the opportunity to take full advantage of their status as current season ticket holders and as Horned Frog Priority Points account holders. In order to accomplish this, however, everyone must follow the steps on the next page before they can purchase 2012 season tickets.

FOUR STEPS TO SELECTING YOUR SEATS

FOUR STEPS TO SELECTING YOUR SEATS

4 STEPS TO BIG TIME COLLEGE FOOTBALL.

45,000 “ON TOP OF THE ACTION” SEATS.

FOLLOW THESE 4 STEPS TO RENEW YOUR SEASON TICKETS.

COMPLETE YOUR RESPONSE FORM Each season ticket holder will need to fill out the enclosed Response Form included with this brochure. You can also find this form online at www.tcufrogclub.com. Once completed, please return the form to the TCU Frog Club office by Monday, February 6, 2012. If the Response Form is not received by the TCU Frog Club office it will be assumed that your selection method will be online and that you are not interested in the group seating option.

DESIGNATE YOUR SEAT SELECTION METHOD All current season ticket holders have the opportunity to choose new seat locations in a manner that is most convenient for you. Seats may be selected by one of the following methods on your designated date and time as indicated on the Response Form:

ONLINE For those who opt to select their seats online, TCU has chosen to use Ballena Technologies for the entire Amon G. Carter Stadium seating process and for overseeing football season ticket sales online. Ballena’s innovative Seat Relocation Management System (SRMS) was designed to manage the seating of new and existing venues and has assisted other major college programs such as Arkansas, Cal, Indiana, Louisville, Michigan State, North Carolina, USC and Virginia with their venue reseating projects. The system works with our existing ticket system, allowing TCU Football season ticket purchasers to access virtual 3D seat previews, compare seat pricing, and select seats from the comfort of their home or office. Season ticket holders are encouraged to utilize the seat selection system to view an area map of Amon G. Carter Stadium in advance of selecting your seats. This map indicates the Scholarship Seating areas and provides up-to-the-minute updates on available seats. More detailed information about Ballena Technologies will be provided with your seat selection ranking information in February 2012. For more information on Ballena Technologies, please visit www.seats3d.com.

IN PERSON 2011 season ticket holders will have the opportunity to consult one-on-one with a TCU Frog Club/Ticket Office representative at the TCU Frog Club offices. Patrons who choose this option will select their seats during individual appointments that will be scheduled beginning in March 2012 through May 2012.

BY PHONE 2011 season ticket holders may also designate to have a TCU Frog Club or TCU Ticket Office representative call you on your designated seat selection appointment time. In this case, the representative will process your seat selection requests over the phone at the time of your appointment.

| AMON G. CARTER STADIUM

INDICATE YOUR GROUP SEATING REQUEST

SELECT YOUR SEATS

Current season ticket holders who wish to be seated with a family member, friend or group of friends can request this accommodation on the Response Form.

Once you have submitted your Response Form – indicating your method of seat selection and group seating preference – you are ready to personally select your 2012 Football Season Tickets! You will be able to select your seats (online, in person or via telephone) on the date and time assigned to you in February.

The following procedures will be used to seat donors in groups:

Prior to seat selection appointments, please contact the TCU Frog Club and the TCU Athletics Ticket Office with any questions regarding the seat selection process.

Any season ticket holders may form a group. Once requested, we will combine and average the respective Horned Frog Priority Points rankings to form a single, new rank for the group. That new rank will then determine the seat selection order for everyone in that group. On the Response Form, all season ticket holders must select the group seating option and include all of the names in the group or it will not be processed as a group seating request.

SEAT SELECTION BASED ON HORNED FROG PRIORITY POINTS RANKINGS

All members of the group must either mail in or complete the Response Forms online at www.tcufrogclub.com. 2011 season ticket holders who group with non-season ticket holders will be accommodated after the renewal period for current season ticket holders is complete. Once the decision to select seats as a group is made, each member of the group forfeits his or her right to select season tickets based on their individual priority points ranking.

The order in which seat locations will be chosen is based on rankings in the Horned Frog Priority Points System as of June 1, 2011. All season ticket holders who opt to group will be given a new group ranking which seat selection day and times will be based on.

SELECTION ORDER The order in which new seat locations will be chosen is as follows: 1. 2011 Football season ticket holders (based on priority points ranking) 2. All remaining Horned Frog Priority Points account holders who are not current season ticket holders 3. TCU Alumni (including May 2012 graduates) and parents of existing and incoming students who are not current season ticket holders and have not accumulated Horned Frog Priority Points (6 ticket maximum) 4. New 2012 season ticket purchasers (6 ticket maximum) All season ticket holders will be notified by mail in February 2012 with their seat selection dates and times. Seat selection appointments will begin in March 2012 and end in May 2012. For any questions regarding 2012 football seating in Amon G. Carter Stadium, please call the Football Seating Hotline at 817-257-SEAT.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

BIG QUESTIONS. ANSWERED.

Q: Are all season ticket holders guaranteed the same number of seats they had in 2011?

TCU SCHOLARSHIP SEATING PROGRAM Q: What is the TCU Scholarship Seating Program?

A: TCU’s Scholarship Seating Program is similar to what

most intercollegiate athletics programs call a “Preferred” or “Priority” seating program where select season ticket locations for Football (and often Basketball) are directly tied to a seat donation level. Unlike many other institutions, at TCU, all donations generated from the program go directly toward funding scholarships for student-athletes.

Q: Why are we implementing the TCU Scholarship Seating Program now?

A: We have delayed implementing a universal practice

of our peer institutions for quite some time but the ever-increasing need to fully fund our student-athlete scholarships is critical if TCU is to remain competitive in recruiting the nation’s finest student-athletes.

Q: Will seats that fall under the TCU Scholarship Seating Program be allocated separately than regular season tickets?

A:

No. Both Scholarship Seating Program seats and seats that do not require a seat donation can be selected during the seating process.

Q: Are seat donations required every year?

A:

Yes. Annual donations are required for all seats that fall within the Scholarship Seating Program when you renew or purchase your football season tickets.

2012 AMON G. CARTER SEATING PLAN

A: Yes. TCU football season ticket holders will have the opportunity to renew the number of season tickets they had in 2011 plus up to four (4) additional seats.

Q: Does my seat donation go toward my annual TCU Frog Club membership?

A: Yes. All donations under the program go directly toward

your annual TCU Frog Club membership but may not be used for other TCU Frog Club benefits such as donor football parking or Horned Frog Classic registration fees.

Q: Can a capital projects or an endowed scholarship gift be used toward my required seat donation?

A: No. These gifts are designated contributions that support specific programs and initiatives. The goal of the TCU Scholarship Seating Program is to create an annual giving initiative that can help cover our student-athletes’ scholarship costs.

Q: Do all seats in Amon G. Carter Stadium require a seat donation?

A: No. The program will cover 12,500 seats (approximately 25% of the stadium’s capacity).

Q: How were the donation levels determined?

Q: Will TCU reseat Amon G. Carter Stadium every year?

A:

No. At this time we have no plans to reseat in the future.

Q: I purchased club seats for the 2012 football season. Can I also select non-club seat season tickets?

A: Yes. You may purchase additional non-club season tickets for

the 2012 season. You may purchase four (4) more tickets than you had in 2011.

Q: When is my payment for season tickets due?

A: All seat donations and ticket money will be due at the time that you select your seats.

Q: Do I have the ability to relocate my seats to sit with family or friends?

A: Yes. Season ticket holders have the option of averaging their ranks (in the Horned Frog Priority Points System) to sit with friends, if they follow these steps:

Q: I need information on ADA seating options in Amon G. Carter Stadium. Who should I contact?

A: Please call the TCU Ticket Office for information on ADA seating at (817) 257-3764.

1. Select the grouping option on your response form; 2. Include all season ticket holders and their ranks with whom you wish to average; and 3. Return the response form by Monday, February 6, 2012 Q: How will the seating process work?

A: Following the receipt of all response forms, each season ticket holder will be given a specific date and time to select your seats based on your rank in the Horned Frog Priority Points System.

Q: What is the faculty/staff discount at TCU and can I have the cost deducted from payroll?

A: The faculty staff discount is 20% off of the ticket price, not

including any required seat donation (i.e., if your ticket price is $200 and your additional required seat donation is $100, you would owe $160 for the ticket price and the full $100 seat donation, for a total of $260). Yes, you may use payroll deduction when purchasing your season tickets.

A: Giving levels were determined by analyzing traditionally

preferred seating areas at Amon G. Carter Stadium and other college football stadiums across the country. We found that there was a strong preference for sideline seats. We therefore set the donation levels for those highdemand seating areas accordingly.

Q: Are the seat donations tax-deductible?

A: Yes. All seat donations (not including the ticket price) are

80% tax deductible. For example: If you purchased a $200 season ticket with a $100 required seat donation, $80 from the donation is tax deductible. Please consult your tax advisor for more specific information.

Q: Are there different ways that I will be able to select my seats?

A: Yes. You will have three different options for selecting your seats. The options include:

- Online (using Ballena Technologies) - In-Person - Phone Q: I am interested in getting season tickets for the first time in 2012. When can I purchase seats?

A: New season ticket holders will have the option of purchasing

tickets following the renewal period (March-May) for the 2011 season ticket holders. New season ticket holders will have the option of purchasing up to 6 tickets.
