Head men's basketball coach Jamie Dixon and guard Mike Miles were members of USA's 2021 U19 FIBA World Cup Team. The duo went 7-0 and won gold with an 83-81 win over France. Miles averaged 9.1 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.9 assists. It was Dixon's second gold medal as he also won gold at the 2009 U19 FIBA World Cup.

DEAR HORNED FROGS FANS, Thank you! With the help of your amazing support, we made it through an athletics season unlike any other. We also appreciate the leadership of our university for putting us in position to not just win championships but simply be able to take part in competition over the past year. There were times last summer when we were not sure if we would indeed have an athletics season. Thanks to Chancellor Boschini, our Board of Trustees and the TCU Athletics Subcommittee of the Chancellor's Fall 2020 Campus Readiness Task Force, we were able to develop a plan that provided measures to protect the health and safety of our student-athletes, coaches and staff, which will always be our top priority.

In addition to competition, our student-athletes excelled in the classroom. During the fall semester, 17 sports recorded a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher. Fifteen teams accomplished the feat

As evidenced by over $400 million in donor-funded athletics facilities projects over the last decade, TCU has a strong commitment to the student-athlete and fan experience. Last fall, after much anticipation, we opened the $113 million Legends Club & Suites on the east side of Amon G. Carter Stadium and have begun hosting events year-round in this world class venue. The project was the latest example of the dedication we have from our fan base and supporters like you. On behalf of our more than 500 student-athletes as well as coaches and staff, we thank you for your belief and investment in us. Go Frogs!

Jeremiah Donati, J.D. Director of Intercollegiate Athletics

Individually, we had 29 student-athletics earn All-America honors. Among that group was football’s Trevon Moehrig, who was presented the 2020 Paycom Jim Thorpe Award as the nation’s top defensive back. Trevon and two-time First-Team All-Big 12 linebacker Garret Wallow were taken in the NFL Draft by the Las Vegas Raiders and Houston Texans, respectively. Speaking of Pro Frogs, men’s basketball standout Desmond Bane was a first-round pick and named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team after a standout season with the Memphis Grizzlies. We also saw soccer’s Yazmeen Ryan become the sixth overall pick in the NWSL Draft when she was selected by the Portland Thorns FC. Past and present student-athletes competing on the next level was also on display this summer as we were represented by five Horned Frogs at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

in the spring. We had 41 student-athletes post a 4.0 semester GPA with 90 earning their degree. We also placed 168 Horned Frogs on the Academic All-Big 12 Team and 289 on the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

1 2 0 2 0 - 2 1

We had five sports (beach volleyball, equestrian, rifle, women’s soccer and men’s tennis) reach the Elite Eight or further in their postseason runs. Women’s soccer captured its first conference title and is one of just 16 programs in the country to play in each of the last five NCAA Tournaments. We have the only men’s tennis program in the nation to finish with a top-10 final ranking in each of the last seven seasons. Beach volleyball made history by earning a trip to its first NCAA Championship, and only eight teams are selected, in just its sixth full season as a program. Men’s golf was 16th at the NCAA Championship, its fifth top-20 finish in the last eight postseasons.

R E P O R T

I am extremely proud of everyone in our athletics program, and especially the student-athletes, as we fought through a year of COVID-19 protocols and challenges to have our most successful season in the Big 12 Conference. For the first time since we began play in the league nine years ago, we won three conference team championships with titles in baseball, women’s soccer and men’s tennis. Rifle gave us a fourth conference championship as it repeated as Patriot Rifle Conference champions en route to winning the NCAA Air Rifle Championship and recording an overall second-place finish. It was great to see football make it through a 10-game regular season and finish with a lot of momentum with wins in five of the last six games. Thirteen of our 21 sports were represented in postseason play with 10 sports in the national top 25.

SUPERFROG DRIVE-BY Through a challenging year, TCU Athletics Marketing found new ways to engage with the TCU and Fort Worth community. TCU expanded on its "Go Purple Friday" initiative and launched SuperFrog Drive-By as a way to keep the TCU brand relevant and connect with fans that were stuck at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On select Fridays prior to the summer and before each home football game, a team of individuals would drive a TCU wrapped truck around a specific neighborhood to bring some TCU spirit to the community. TCU's mascot, SuperFrog, participated in each drive-by for fans to have the opportunity to say hi or take photos.

VIRTUAL FASHION SHOW Looking for a chance to interact with donors during a time when in-person events were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, TCU held a virtual fashion show. The exclusive event for athletic donors featured a high-end collection of products from the campus bookstore. The models included staff, coaches, alumni, former student-athletes and current members of TCU's spirit squads. Fans were introduced to new apparel items from the brands they love, including custom product featuring the Frog Club logo that had never been available at retail before. During the show, fans were also given insight into collegiate licensing with guest speakers, Cory Moss (Collegiate Licensing Company) and Shawnna Fedderson (Gameday Couture) discussing the industry. The images from the fashion show were also used on social media to continue to bring awareness and drive sales at retail.

Over 100 donors tuned into the event live and a recording was made for donors to watch at a later time. The night of the event directly resulted in $642 in product sales online with almost $1,000 after follow up posts on social media.

Mission The Frog Club provides TCU supporters the opportunity to contribute to develop our more than 500 student-athletes into Champions. Champions as students. Champions as athletes. Champions in society. The philanthropic contributions from TCU donors elevate all 21 of our programs to achieve top-level performances.

2 0 2 0 - 2 1

22

The mission of the Frog Club remained unchanged in 2020-21, but it was a year to create new opportunities for supporters to make their impact felt on TCU student-athletes and programs during a challenging year. The Frog Club also adapted the format of events and ways of saying thank you to all of the thousands of supporters. The standard of excellence did not change as championships were still the goal, but additional resources were required to keep TCU Athletics moving forward safely. We thank all TCU donors who stepped up this past year to support philanthropically or to attend sporting events as you assisted us in sustaining our top-tier programs in the midst of a challenging year. Unrestricted Giving Frog Club donors contributed $4,464,496 in unrestricted cash giving in Fiscal Year 2021 through scholarship seating, donor parking, and membership gifts. Total unrestricted annual fund donations were once again impacted in 2020-21 due to challenges presented by COVID-19, which included reduced venue capacities, the adjusted schedule of the 2021 TCU Football season ticket renewal deadline, and the payment plan option that was offered which applied gift payments after the end of the fiscal year. Unrestricted Annual Fund gifts directly aid student-athlete scholarship support and help offset the total.

oNE PURPOSE PURPlE Legends Club & Suites Opening The fall of 2020 was the inaugural season in the completed Legends Club & Suites. All donors who opted-in for the opportunity to sit in their seats got a chance to enjoy their new game day home in the Legends Club & Suites. As we get back to full capacity at Amon G. Carter Stadium, we look forward to welcoming all Legends Club & Suites seat holders to enjoy their premium game day experience. The premium area has also been utilized for a variety of university events to put the space on display.

Virtual events were the answer and the Association delivered with several programs bringing Block T member together to learn, reunite with teammates and honor former coaches. Frogs In The Kitchen On September 28th, the Block T Association teamed up the TCU Alumni to bring a live cooking class to TCU alums and letter-winners worldwide. It was titled Frogs in the Kitchen. Former TCU linebacker David Hawthorne hosted renown TV chef Aaron Sanchez for an hour-long trip inside Chef Aaron’s cooking and seasoning strategies.

November 18th, TCU donors and letter-winners were offered free golf lessons online! Frog Class was hosted by Block T Association Executive Director John Denton and featured TCU Men’s Golf Associate Head Coach Adrien Mork. The one-hour lesson included tips on all facets of the game and was viewed by Frogs around the world.

April 26th was the date for the first in-person fundraising event of the year for the Block T Association at the 23rd Annual TCU Coaches Golf Classic at Texas Star GC. The Block T Association is a sponsor of the event, which saw 220 players tee it up for TCU. The Block T Division Championship was won by the team of Michael Downing (football), Oscar Lopez (sponsor), Joe Brown (football/track) and Katy Cardno-Brown (women’s golf).

Frank Windegger Player Reunion September 17th was the day that longtime TCU AD and Baseball Coach Frank Windegger was joined by nearly 100 of his former players during a virtual reunion on Zoom.
