Having worked with the platform since 2016 to assist alumni and student-athletes in brand building, TCU extended its partnership to serve as the department’s NIL solution, which helps student-athletes understand, build, protect and monetize their brand.
TCU was the first school in Texas and the Big 12 Conference to provide the Opendorse NIL solution, which provides four distinct products:
Social
Simple and effective way to send studentathletes custom TCU content directly to their mobile phones.
Ready
Empowering student-athletes with several education options, including personalized social media assessments to easily make themselves more marketable.
Deals
Student-athletes can simply opt-in via the Opendorse app to be able to receive opportunities and disclose those activities to the TCU Compliance department.
Monitor
Provides a record of all deals disclosed by our student-athletes to the TCU Compliance department to ensure all Texas State laws are followed.
Opendorse Co-Founder & CEO Blake Lawrence recently visited campus and met with every student-athlete to help prepare them to be successful in this new landscape. In the last 90 days alone, TCU student-athletes have been provided with over 54,000 pieces of content to assist in brand building for the new era and beyond.
