Frog Club

Mission The Frog Club provides TCU supporters the opportunity to contribute to develop our more than 500 student-athletes into Champions. Champions as students. Champions as athletes. Champions in society. The philanthropic contributions from TCU donors elevate all 21 of our programs to achieve top-level performances.

The mission of the Frog Club remained unchanged in 2020-21, but it was a year to create new opportunities for supporters to make their impact felt on TCU student-athletes and programs during a challenging year. The Frog Club also adapted the format of events and ways of saying thank you to all of the thousands of supporters. The standard of excellence did not change as championships were still the goal, but additional resources were required to keep TCU Athletics moving forward safely. We thank all TCU donors who stepped up this past year to support philanthropically or to attend sporting events as you assisted us in sustaining our top-tier programs in the midst of a challenging year.

Unrestricted Giving Frog Club donors contributed $4,464,496 in unrestricted cash giving in Fiscal Year 2021 through scholarship seating, donor parking, and membership gifts. Total unrestricted annual fund donations were once again impacted in 2020-21 due to challenges presented by COVID-19, which included reduced venue capacities, the adjusted schedule of the 2021 TCU Football season ticket renewal deadline, and the payment plan option that was offered which applied gift payments after the end of the fiscal year.

Unrestricted Annual Fund gifts directly aid student-athlete scholarship support and help offset the total.

Legends Club & Suites Opening The fall of 2020 was the inaugural season in the completed Legends Club & Suites. All donors who opted-in for the opportunity to sit in their seats got a chance to enjoy their new game day home in the Legends Club & Suites. As we get back to full capacity at Amon G. Carter Stadium, we look forward to welcoming all Legends Club & Suites seat holders to enjoy their premium game day experience. The premium area has also been utilized for a variety of university events to put the space on display.

Virtual/In-Person Doro Events and Stewardship The Frog Club Donor Rewards Program is designed to reward members for their above and beyond commitment to TCU Athletics. Membership is made up of five giving levels; White ($100-$999), Purple ($1,000-$4,999), Gold ($5,000-$14,999), Platinum ($15,000-$24,999), Black ($25,000+). Even with the limitations that were presented in 2020-21, the TCU Frog Club continued to bring value to their donors by creating exclusive experiences and access, both virtual and in-person.

Horned Frog Classic One of the few in-person, non-sporting events in 2020-21 was the 42nd Annual Horned Frog Classic at Colonial Country Club which took place on October 19, 2020. More than 200 donors came together to support and provide more than $250,000 towards TCU student-athlete scholarships and support for athletics programs.

Fashion Show On November 10, 2020, the Frog Club partnered with TCU Athletics Licensing to present the Virtual Fashion Show to top-level donors who got first access to see much of the new and exclusive TCU apparel modeled by TCU coaches, administrators, letter-winners, donors and more. Lululemon, Peter Millar and Gameday Couture were just a few of the many phenomenal brands that were on display on the virtual runway. Visit the TCU Bookstore in-person or online to see all of the featured items.

TCU Coaches Classic The 24th Annual TCU Coaches Classic was another successful golf outing and fundraiser which took place at Texas Star Golf Course on April 26, 2021. This tournament has become a joint effort between the TCU Frog Club and Block T Association and is always a favorite as it is an opportunity for the TCU coaches to join together and engage with Frog Club members.

Coaches Night Live The springtime is usually when the Frog Club sets out on the road with TCU head coaches to visit many of the major hubs where TCU supporters reside. In 2021, we shifted gears and did a single coaches night, Coaches Night LIVE from the Legends Club & Suites. This event was a hybrid of in-person and virtually live streamed by TCU Athletics. Top-level donors were invited to attend in-person to hear updates from Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Jeremiah Donati and several TCU’s head coaches, and all Frog Club members were invited to tune in for the tremendous evening in the Legends Club & Suites.
