Excellence in Academics
6 - Student-athletes who were recipients of the annual Dr. Gerald Lage Academic Achievement Award, the Big 12 Conference’s highest academic honor. The honorees, who can only be recognized once they have 100 or more hours of earned credit with a cumulative GPA of 3.8 at the time of nomination. This year’s recipients were Kevin Chao (men's swimming and diving), Noelle Christensen (rifle), Tatum Condrey (soccer), Evelyn Mandel (women's cross country), Emma Schmidt (women's basketball), Wynne Weatherly (equestrian).
15 - Teams recorded a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the spring.

17 - Teams recorded a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the fall.
41 - Student-athletes posted a 4.0 semester GPA this past year. 81 - Student-athletes graduated in the 2020-21 academic year.
166 - Individuals who were named Academic All-Big 12. To be eligible for selection, student-athleties must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.
289 - Student-athletes were named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for recording a 3.0 GPA during the spring semester. There were 286 student-athletes named to the honor roll for the fall semester.

2020-21
Emily Alvarado was named a CoSIDA second team Academic All-American, the first Horned Frog soccer player in program history to earn the honor. Joao Andrade, Matt Brewer, Lauren Halliburton, Chloe Miller, Kiki Rice and Kevin Chao of the men's and women's swimming and diving team.
Due to competition, Big 12 championship teams baseball and men's tennis were unable to participate in TCU's graduation ceremony. However, TCU Athletics held a special ceremony just for them.
