About Frog Camp is an extended orientation program that connects new students with the TCU, Fort Worth, and global communities and develops upper-level students as leaders, facilitators, and mentors.

Additional Outcomes

• New students will be able to articulate and appreciate the shared values of the TCU community. • Participants will learn TCU cheers, the fight song, Alma Mater, student creed, and other important TCU traditions. • Students who serve as Frog Camp Facilitators will demonstrate increased skills in leadership, mentoring, and small group facilitation. • Students who serve as Frog Camp Directors will demonstrate the ability to manage, teach, and lead others and work collaboratively to achieve stated goals.

• As a result of participating in Frog Camp, those involved at all levels (campers, facilitators, directors, and faculty/staff partners) will report a greater sense of connectedness to TCU • As a result of participating in Frog Camp, those involved will collaborate and interact with students, faculty, and staff from a wide range of perspectives, backgrounds, positions, and experiences across TCU. • Attending Frog Camp will help confirm a student’s decision to enroll at TCU and provide him/her with a variety of mutually enhancing relationships.
