SPJST’s mission revolves around “Insuring and Enriching Lives,” with a vision to provide financial security, foster a wholesome family environment, and uphold cherished Czech traditions.

Celebrating its 128th year in 2025, SPJST, a fraternal benefit society, was founded in La Grange, Texas, by fearless pioneers of Czech descent. With assets exceeding $273 million, SPJST ensures financial security through high-quality life insurance products, annuities, and IRAs.

SPJST actively promotes a family-oriented environment through local lodge and youth activities, charitable initiatives, and statewide programs, including a scholarship program, creative arts and talent showcase, and summer camping experiences. Since 1897, SPJST has established itself as a proactive, nonsectarian fraternal organization, recognized by the Fraternal Alliance of Texas and the American Fraternal Alliance.
