HELLO FRIENDS We travel to “see the sights,” but we also travel for connection. When we’re in a new place, we have to slow down, listen more closely, and rely on the kindness of strangers. We dig our heels into the moment (and sometimes the sand, too). That’s the recipe for connection. That’s when we make new friends. Our time in Greece was no exception.

Five families arrived on the windswept island of Andros ready to share adventures and soak in stories of the land. The kids led the way. They found heartshaped rocks on the beaches, picked olives to brine in seawater, and chased cats through every square. They discovered Greece, and also made friends for life.

When five families arrived (with 11 children in tow) from places as far away as Sayulita, Florence, Melbourne, Thessaloniki and San Francisco, they had never met—but they shared an instant connection. By the last day, the kids were planning sleepovers and reunions. When you’re in a new place, your heart opens to possibility—and friendship. Please enjoy our show and tell.
