Stop Falls Stand-Down Plan a toolbox talk or other safety activity Take a break to talk about how to prevent falls Provide training for all workers

STAND-DOWN OSHA NATIONAL CAMPAIGN Next month Teal will be participating in the OSHA National Safety Stand-Down campaign which educates our jobsite team on fall protection and preventing falls on our jobs. All superintendents will be required to have a tool box talk on fall prevention or another relevant safety activity such as conducting safety equipment inspections, developing rescue plans, or discussing job specific hazards. Superintendents are encouraged to plan a stand-down that works best for their project anytime during the May 2 -6. In 2014, 39.9% of the total fatalities in construction were caused by falls (349 out of 874). October 1, 2014 - February 7, 2015 490 reported job related fatalities. Teal should have and will have safety at the forefront of all our projects. We have to facilitate saftey conversations through preconstruction meetings and toolbox talks to train ourselves and the workers on our jobs. By

educating, we can prevent these fatalities. New Employee Spotlight Russ Brownrigg Estimator - Houston

Thank you to all of the Tealians that participate in these events. As we grow as a company we want to make sure that all of our industry is meeting multiple team members. In April, we attended the AIA Gala at Spring Studios. The gala brought together architects, engineers, and construction professionals. We were able to celebrate with many of our industry partners and meet new ones. It was nice to not only shake hands all night, but also loosen up and dance the night away. Throughout the first quarter we sponsored golf tournaments, luncheons, and galas that reach each of our business markets.
