business owners looking forward to growing. With so much competition out there it’s important to keep ahead of the game when it comes to innovation and know which areas are worth investing in. It’s a fact that small-business owners are not all necessarily tech whizzes, and a huge variety of options makes it difficult to work out what the best options are. • Does our business plans reflect the full potential of technology to improve our performance? • Should you move your customer services to the cloud? • Invest in creating an app? • Focus your marketing energy on social media? And crucially, what are the best ways to ensure you’re getting a good deal on your technology? We offer a wide range of services for people who want to set up on their own and for already established business who wishes to understand how to use technology in their business. Look through our website to find out about the courses, business advice and consultancy that we offer. In addition to offering a varied education provision, the Study centre CPFC can also offer skills trainers within the region.

SHARED APPRENTICESHIP SCHEME PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PEOPLE TO BECOME ECONOMICALLY ACTIVE
is set to become London’s biggest growth centre C roydon with £5.25bn worth of investment over the next five years.
One of the programme to address this will be an innovative collaboration between Study centre CPFC and regional partners. It will be established in response to industry demand, as a way of providing construction contractors with an opportunity to meet local training obligations, and to maximise additional training opportunities within our centre for apprentices. The Shared Apprenticeship Scheme allows employers to support and benefit from apprentices, even if they are unable to offer them a long term placement. How does it work?
Study Centre CPFC makes use of Academia’s purchasing power and stock allocation to provide businesses with a source to purchase software, hardware and technical services.
Getting involved in the Shared Apprenticeship Scheme allows employers to dip in and out of apprentice training. The Scheme allows you to take on an apprentice, for as short a duration as three months, with no commitment to the apprentice at the end.
Working with a number of large System Integrators, Academia already provide Apple Technical Consultants on both a daily or contract basis to a number of large Enterprise clients.
Once the apprentice has finished working with an employer they are found another placement, and upon framework completion, they will be assisted in sourcing permanent employment within their chosen trade.
