Low cost of living, high quality of life
High quality of life. In 2006, Expansion Management magazine published its 8th annual “Quality of Life Quotient ratings” of the 362 metropolitan statistical areas (MSA) throughout the United States. Designed to provide readers with a basis for comparing the type of living and working environment they are likely to encounter in various communities around the country, Springfield, Missouri ranked in the Top 20 percent of MSA’s, thus earning the coveted “Five Star” distinction. In this guide and on our web site, we provide links to sites that can dazzle your mind with
abundant statistics and insight into living, working and going to school in and around Springfield. You will find that the city is healthy, prosperous, growing, and offers a very attractive cost of living. In fact, Inc. Magazine recognized Springfield, Missouri as one of the Hottest Mid-Sized Cities for entrepreneurs: “…our list puts the focus on job growth, which we believe is the best measure of a region’s economic vitality—especially as it applies to entrepreneurs…” What’s more, strong job growth suggests that a region’s economy is expanding. That means new demand and new opportunities. Outlying communities such as Nixa, Strafford, Republic, Rogersville, Bolivar, Willard and Ozark offer residents the comforts and beauty of small town living near the conveniences offered by a larger city like Springfield. Your Murney agent will take the time to understand your priorities, and then match those with communities and homes that will answer your needs.
