KANSAS JAYHAWKS

(27-14; 0-10)

LEADING OFF... Texas Tech hosts its final midweek series of the year Wednesday as the 25th-ranked Red Raiders face Kansas in a 3 p.m. doubleheader at Rocky Johnson Field.

ON DECK The Red Raiders hit the road again this weekend, traveling to Stillwater, Okla. for a two-game series at No. 19 Oklahoma State that begins at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cowgirl Stadium.

LIVE STREAMING Texas Tech will stream every home game free of charge this season at RaiderVision All-Access on the school’s official website, www.texastech.com. Matt Driskill and Harley Chambliss will call the action from Rocky Johnson Field during every Big 12 Conference game as the online broadcast can be heard through the video stream.

THE SERIES Despite winning the last four games, Tech trails Kansas in the all-time series, 13-24, as the Jayhawks won 12-straight games over the Red Raiders from 2004 to 2009. Tech swept all three meetings last year, including a series sweep in Lawrence and then a Big 12 Championship game in Oklahoma City.

GAMEDAY CENTRAL Texas Tech fans unable to make the trip to Iowa State can keep up with the action through the Gameday Central page at texastech.com. The page will contain live scoring, an in-game blog, and stats and box scores from every game along with postgame video from coach Shanon Hays. TOUGH STRETCH TO CLOSE SEASON Following the Kansas series, the Red Raiders close the regular season with eight-straight games against ranked opponents, six of which that will come on the road. Tech’s lone remaining home series is April 22-23 against No. 3 Texas. BOOSTING ITS RESUME Tech’s start to Big 12 play might not hurt the Red Raiders in the long run as all three of its four opponents so far - Missouri, Oklahoma, and Baylor - are ranked in the top 10 of the RPI rankings. Tech is 2-4 against teams ranked among the top 15 of the RPI.
