RED RAIDERS UNDEFEATED IN LAWRENCE n Texas Tech will head to Kansas this weekend looking to rebound from its first loss of the season last weekend against No. 15 Oklahoma State. Lawrence has traditionally been friendly to the Red Raiders, who are 9-0 all-time in road games against the Jayhawks. n The Red Raiders have won 10-straight in the series against the Jayhawks, their longest active streak against a Big 12 foe. Texas Tech has topped the Jayhawks by an average of 19.2 points per game over the course of the winning streak. Eight of the 10 victories during that span have come by double digits. TURNOVERS COMING IN HANDY FOR TECH n Texas Tech remains among the national leaders in turnover margin this week as the Red Raiders rank seventh nationally and first in the Big 12 in the category at plus-7. n Through four games, the Red Raiders have already forced 10 turnovers this season (5 interceptions and 5 fumbles). It took Texas Tech to its 12th game last year to force 10 turnovers. n In addition, the Red Raiders have protected the ball in tremendous fashion, allowing only three turnovers this season. Texas Tech ranks sixth nationally and leads the Big 12 with only three turnovers lost.
