RED RAIDERS LOOK TO BUILD ON SUCCESS Texas Tech heads to Fort Worth this weekend in search of its second consecutive win as the Red Raiders take on the TCU Horned Frogs on Saturday afternoon at Amon G. Carter Stadium. Kickoff has been set for 2:30 p.m. and tickets for the game can be purchased through the TCU Athletics Ticket Office or online at www.gofrogs.com. The Red Raiders enter Saturday’s game fresh off a 34-21 homecoming win over Kansas last weekend at Jones AT&T Stadium. The win snapped a four-game losing streak and an eight-game losing skid in Big 12 Conference play. TCU comes into the match-up with a 5-1 overall record and a 2-1 record in the Big 12. The Horned Frogs demolished Oklahoma State 42-9 last Saturday.

Chris Level rounds out the crew as the sideline reporter and is in his fifth season. TEXAS TECH AND TCU • Texas Tech and TCU will be meeting for the third straight season as conference foes after TCU entered the Big 12 Conference in 2012. Texas Tech holds a 30-23-3 all-time lead in the series that dates back to 1926. The Red Raiders and Horned Frogs were conference foes in the old Southwest Conference until 1995 when the league broke apart with the formation of the Big 12 Conference. Tech and TCU played twice as non-conference opponents (in Lubbock in 2004 and in Fort Worth in 2006) after the breakup of the SWC with both teams claiming home wins. • Texas Tech has won both meetings against TCU since the Horned Frogs joined the Big 12. • Texas Tech won last year’s game 20-10 when then backup quarterback Davis Webb threw a game-winning touchdown pass to Bradley Marquez with 3:48 remaining in the game. Webb entered the game in the fourth quarter when starter Baker Mayfield left the game due to injury. • The 2012 game in Fort Worth was a thriller as it took three overtimes for the Red Raiders to escape with a 56-53 win. Quarterback Seth Doege found receiver Alex Torres in the back of the end zone for the game-winning score in the third overtime. The two teams combined for 905 yards of total offense with TCU out-gaining the Red Raiders 516 to 389. Eric Ward led the Texas Tech receiving corps with six catches for 61 yards and three touchdowns.
