Fristam products’ continuous innovation has led to further development of its mixing systems, adapting them to the needs of perfect homogeneity even in the production of high viscosity mixtures

Fristam, German company with solid and proven experience in the production of stainless-steel sanitary pumps for the worldwide food industry, has developed this new complete and efficient high viscosity mixing system. Powder Mixer PMD is made of:

• Self-priming double screw pump - Fristam FDS

• Shear pump Fristam FSP

This is a complete system, supported by a base frame and equipped with a table to guarantee the ergonomic handling of the powders. The self-priming Double screw pump - Fristam FDS is connected to the mixing pump. The powder is sucked and conveyed into the liquid flow to be absorbed and then homogenized with the high shear mixing pump. This system is able to handle very high viscous products and used to dissolve large quantities of powders in a very short time, with a capacity up to 15,000 kg/h and viscosities up to 100.000 cP. Si tratta di sistemi completi, con un telaio di base dotato di un tavolo per garantire il carico ergonomico delle polveri, dove la pompa autoadescante doppiavite FDS, in grado di gestire fluidi anche molto viscosi, è collegata alla pompa di miscelazione. La polvere viene aspirata e convogliata nel flusso del liquido per essere assorbita e quindi omogeneizzata dalla shear pump di miscelazione. Tale sistema viene utilizzato per amalgamare in un tempo molto breve grandi quantità di polveri, con una portata fino a 15.000 kg/h e viscosità fino a 100.000 cP. Applicazioni: gomma di xantano, pectina, gomma arabica, CMC, carragenina, e altri addensanti in polvere, come amidi e gomma di guar.

L’idratazione di stabilizzanti e addensanti in alte concentrazioni è una delle operazioni di miscelazione più difficili che i sistemi di agitazione e miscelazione convenzionali non possono gestire a causa dell’elevata viscosità del prodotto. Invece con il Powder Mixer PMD, queste preparazioni risultano fattibili con semplicità, rapidità ed efficacia d’omogeneizzazione, garantendo la perfetta ripetibilità dei batch. In aggiunta, tutti i sistemi sono CIP e SIP compatibili.

Da anni i Powder Mixer Fristam sono utilizzati nell’industria alimentare, dolciaria e delle bevande per garantire una eccezionale miscelazione e ridurre fino al 90% i tempi di produzione rispetto ai sistemi tradizionali, quali tri-blender o serbatoi con agitatore interno.

With the Fristam PMD Powder Mixer, these preparations are feasible with simplicity, short processing times and perfect homogenization, ensuring batch repeatability and complete hydration.
