EDITORIAL THE GRAND TOUR To begin with, let’s embark on a journey taking in the cultural sites that selected Tectona in recent years, a journey that evokes the Grand Tour, a voyage of cultural discovery across Europe undertaken by young upper-class men in the 16 th to 18 th centuries. Our first stop is Hyères, where our Roma parasol welcomes visitors who have come to admire the garden of Villa Noailles; then onwards to Rencontres de la photographie d’Arles, where our furniture can be enjoyed in the relaxation spaces. Next is Rome where, in the gardens of Villa Medici, you can admire vistas of the Eternal City from the comfort of our benches or sun loungers. Across the border in Lausanne, we fabricated the bench by designer Pierre Charpin for the Plateforme 10 hub. A stopover at Centre Pompidou-Metz where our furniture was chosen to fit out the new South Garden. We end in the City of Light: at the Musée National Picasso-Paris, sit on a Muse bench and admire the works on display. A short hop away is Versailles where Grande Écurie-Versailles benches are interspersed along visitor routes.

WINDS OF INNOVATION Shared core value: design. In 2023, with Villa Noailles in Hyères, we created Prix Tectona, which will be awarded during the Design Parade festival. This prize illustrates our commitment, unwavering since the late 1990s, to evolve our furniture according to new uses associated with the modern era, while remaining faithful to our DNA. This desire manifests every year by the launch of new models imagined by young designers. This year, we are delighted to present the Horizon sun lounger, the fruit of our first collaboration with AC/AL. We also turned to THINKK STUDIO to design the lounge of the Batten collection.

And as always our in-house creations! Our Bamboo collection has grown with the addition of a lounge whose structure is designed like bamboo canes. This evocation of nature along with the generous proportions of the lounge inspire sensations of calm and serenity.

OFFER CHOICE! Being innovative is also about how to evolve our collections by making them available in different materials, a wider range of colours or by cultivating a sense of detail. The elegance of marble As an alternative to powder-coated stainless steel, we also offer marble tabletops for the tables of our 1800 and Bamboo collections. Since its creation in 1977, Tectona has entered several cultural sites open to the general public. Tectona furniture is both durable and timeless in style, a natural choice for parks and historic gardens, museums and institutions dedicated to contemporary creation.

CONTEMPORARY ART INSTITUTION Villa Noailles, Hyères In 1996, Villa Noailles became a centre of art and architecture, and was recognised as a “site of national interest” in 2017. Villa Noailles offers residencies to artists and every summer since 2006 it has organised Design Parade Hyères, an international design festival. In 2022, Tectona installed a veritable design icon in the Villa’s square: the Roma parasol. At the 17 th edition of the Design Parade in 2023, on the occasion of the centenary of the founding of Villa Noailles, a new tie-up was announced: the creation of the Design Parade Tectona Prize, to be awarded every year.

PARKS & HISTORIC GARDENS Carrousel du Louvre, musée Rodin, Vaux-leVicomte, domaine de Chambord… For decades, visitors to these outstanding examples of French gardens have been able to take a comfortable break on one of our most iconic benches: Glenwood. Villa Medici, Rome Two other icons, the Circle Bench and Copacabana deckchairs, welcome visitors to the Villa, under the shade of its umbrella pines.

MUSEUMS & FESTIVALS Centre Pompidou-Metz 120,000 masterpieces make up the modern art inventory of this spectacular museum created in 2006. In 2022, the Batten collection (Thinkk Studio) and the Tecto bench (Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby) were selected for the new South Garden designed by 6

landscape artist Gilles Clément, who was asked to reimagine the garden to make it a natural and colourful space teeming with energy and sheltering the PTS (Paper Tube Studio) imagined by Shigeru Ban and Jean de Gastines, the architects behind Centre Pompidou-Metz. Musée National Picasso, Paris In 2017, following a competition jointly organised by ECAL and Musée Picasso, the Muse bench imagined by Isabelle Baudraz and developed by the Tectona Workshop was selected for the renewal of the museum’s seating. The modular bench in oak is sturdy, easy to move and modular in nature: characteristics that make it an obvious choice for a venue welcoming thousands of visitors every year. Château de Versailles Since 2020, Grande Écurie-Versailles benches are interspersed along visitor routes at the Château de Versailles. The bench was designed, developed and fabricated by Tectona and its style draws inspiration from furniture of Maison Jacob-Desmalter, the main supplier to palaces in the mid-18 th century. This piece was the outcome of the partnership between Château de Versailles and Tectona. Plateforme 10, Lausanne In 2022, Tectona participated in the inauguration of Plateforme 10, the gigantic cultural hub in Lausanne. During an international competition, the oak bench designed by Pierre Charpin and fabricated by Tectona was selected to welcome the public. Rencontres photographiques, Arles Since 2015, Tectona is a patron of the world-famous photography festival, donating furniture (deckchairs, circular bench, tables and chairs…) for the outdoor spaces.

DESIGN GENERATIONS

2023. Tectona teams up with the Design Parade festival at Villa Noailles in Hyères to launch a new competition. Every year, the winner of the Tectona prize will receive 5000 Euros and the possibility of seeing their project brought to market. The winners of the inaugural Tectona prize were Lucien Dumas and Lou-Poko Savadogo, who imagined an armchair combining acacia and thermally modified ash, assembled by hemp straps and pine tar.

FRUITFUL ENCOUNTERS In the early 1990s, Tectona entered the contemporary design arena by launching the bench designed by Andrée Putman for CAPC (Contemporary Art Museum of Bordeaux). In 2001, young designer Christophe Delcourt was asked to give a fresh spin to the catalogue by imagining furniture meeting modern expectations about outdoor life. In 2003, the first exchanges between Tectona and Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec would give rise to the Pebble collection in woven resin. Five years later, designer Pierre Charpin’s first collaboration with Tectona culminated in the umpire’s chair featuring a structure combining powder-coated aluminium and teak. In 2009, Tectona further enriched its repertoire with Delta, its first outdoor shower, designed by Inga Sempé.

MILLENNIALS SHINE WITH CREATIVITY In the 2010s, Tectona forged a close relationship with ECAL (Lausanne University of Art and Design), one of the best design schools in the world. This collaboration would bear fruit in the form of new Tectona furniture designed by young ECAL-trained designers including Julie Richoz (Cicala, 2017) and BIG-GAME (Clubhouse, 2017).

In 2017, on the occasion of its 40th birthday, Tectona held an international competition for young creators to design a “table and chair” ensemble in teak. The winning entry, Batten by Thinkk Studio, has since entered the Tectona catalogue. One year later, again in collaboration with ECAL, Tectona launched the Muse bench by Isabelle Baudraz which has since been welcoming the general public at Musée National Picasso-Paris. The commitment to young creative talent continues today, as demonstrated recently by the new collaboration with the Villa Noailles Design Parade.

FUNDAMENTAL DIALOGUE MARTIN SZEKELY & TECTONA A veritable giant of design, Martin Szekely has left an indelible mark on international contemporary design in recent decades. In 2022, he collaborated with Tectona for the Soleil collection, an iconic collection combining traditional cabinetmaking know-how with digital tools. The use of larch derived from European forests illustrates Tectona’s ethical approach, particularly in relation to the durability of its furniture and the respect for resources. It also symbolises Tectona’s involvement in the design universe: at the frontier between tradition and cutting-edge technologies.

TEAK: A SYMBOL OF DURABILITY

For over 45 years, Tectona furniture has stood out for its longevity and resistance, seemingly impervious to the passage of time. The outstanding durability of the pieces follows on from the painstaking fabrication that has been a hallmark of the brand since its founding in 1977, most notably for selecting and shaping teak.

MADE TO LAST!

PAINSTAKING KNOW-HOW

Teak consists of straight rigid fibres and has a particularly tight grain, characteristics that make it ideal for cabinetmaking; moreover the fibres produce a protective oil, an oleoresin, that makes the wood rot-proof and impervious to water and insects, and at the same time forms a subtle silver patina over time. These qualities explain the longevity and the charm of teak furniture designed by Tectona.

From the outset, Tectona’s identity has been intimately connected to traditional cabinetmaking techniques, whereby every piece of furniture is unique: wood is worked in whole sections; the wooden slats of benches, armchairs and chairs are curved as a single block; parts are assembled using dowelled mortise-and-tenon joints. Together these practices guarantee that furniture by Tectona is sturdy and longlasting.

TECK IMPÉRIAL: A BADGE OF EXCELLENCE The “Teck Impérial” stamp on certain pieces of Tectona furniture indicates that the teak used was carved from the most attractive logs, derived from the oldest trees. Over the years, the grain of this teak has become exceptionally dense and the oleoresin more concentrated ― these two properties confer outstanding durability.

FSC CERTIFICATE Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified Tectona furniture is proof that the wood used originated at legal forestry operations implementing sustainable and responsible management, and guaranteeing respect for biodiversity and for the ecosystems within the operations.

Our workshop in Normandy is the embodiment of the ethics espoused by Tectona since its creation, both in the fabrication of furniture and the close relationship with clients.

KEY STAGES

TRUST IN EXPERTS

Fabrication of furniture is guided by two key stages: technical drawing and prototyping. Each of these stages demands extreme attention to detail by our specialist teams each bringing expertise in different areas such as cabinetmaking, aluminium carpentry and forming of woven resin. Once the various section views have been created, prototyping can begin. This stage consists of a series of operations to test sturdiness and comfort. The use of traditional know-how but also cutting-edge technologies, notably computer numerical control tools, means that, among other things, the various parts making up an item of furniture can be assembled with the ideal level of precision to guarantee durability.

Long-term care Our workshop can also provide long-term care for your furniture, whether to replace a wooden slat, replace a leg, change a dowel joint or carry out a deep clean. Replacement where necessary Our After-Sales Service can send you, as quickly as possible, parts to replace any that have gone missing over the years. Parasol recanvasing A specialist artisan, who received training at the Italian workshop where our parasols are fabricated, can replace the old canvas of your parasol with a new one and in addition replace any defective ribs. Rapid delivery Thanks to its pioneering stock management system, Tectona is able to deliver your furniture within one week of your order being entered into our system. All our furniture is shipped from our Normandy workshop where we developed a storage unit with laser focus on reactivity. Please note that special orders, such as non-standard-colour parasols or non-standard fabrics, may take longer to deliver.

STUNNING LOCATIONS SUBLIMATING THE 1800 COLLECTION After Baden-Baden (Brenners Park), Madrid (Santo Mauro Hotel), Paris (Hôtel Saint James), Normandy (Domaine de Primard)… the 1800 collection continues to make its mark throughout Europe, in hotels renowned for their history and the beauty of their surroundings.

ITALY, TUSCANY, PIEVE ALDINA, DOMAINES DE FONTENILLE

FRANCE, SAVOIE, LES AIRELLES COURCHEVEL

For their new hotel in the heart of Tuscany, Domaines de Fontenille turned to Tectona, as it had previously for Domaine de Primard, opting once again for the 1800 collection in black and the Roma parasol to fit out the terraces and the swimming pool area. Four buildings make up this historic site in the Chianti valley; one, dating from the 16 th century, was the summer residence of the bishops of Siena and another is a Roman chapel, Santa Maria Novella, famous for its frescos. The twenty-two rooms and suites offer spectacular views of the landscape, which enjoys listed status like the historical buildings of the site.

The 1800 collection in black is to be found on the balconies and terraces of this Mountain Palace and its luxurious spa La Mer. Here, a classic design is enhanced by the modernity of the colours and motifs used in the fabrics of the armchair cushions and in the mattresses of the sun loungers. This inspired design choice blends in effortlessly with the ambience of the terraces, the intimacy of the balconies and the wellbeing evoked by the spa.

GREECE, SANTORINI, APEIRON BLUE This hotel, perched on the rim of the island’s caldera, offers breathtaking views of Santorini bay and its archipelago of volcanic islands, a must-see at nightfall! The vista can be enjoyed from the hotel’s large terrace that has been fitted out with sun loungers and a lounge suite from the 1800 collection in a blue-grey harmonising with the sky and sea. Tectona cushions with interlaced motifs, red on white and blue on white, lend a modern twist to the classic atmosphere of eternal Greece.

FRANCE, PROVENCE, CHÂTEAU LES CROSTES This family-owned 17 th century château, dominating the small medieval town of Lorgues, is situated at the heart of a 220-hectare estate on the hillsides of a forest of pines and vineyards. It accommodates guests in twelve rooms and suites, all restored in the Provence style. On the terraces and in the pool area, the contours of the 1800 collection in black evoke a purity in line with the feelings of calm and delight evoked by the charming surroundings. For wine buffs, the château’s cellar serves as an invaluable introduction to the diversity of wines produced onsite.

Exceptional through the use of wood derived from a highly limited selection of century-old trees having very large circumferences. 1800 The Elegance of the Directory Style The 1800 collection is inspired by neo-classic French furniture that was in vogue during the period of the Directory (1795-1799). Rigorous contours are tempered by the curvature of the backrest and the nub motif at the intersections of the various aluminium elements. The blue-grey colour, created by Tectona specifically for this collection, imparts a soft and soothing gleam.

Newest Bridge Armchair, a Beautiful Touch This armchair adopts the essential characteristics of bridge armchairs, which first appeared in the 1930s: it is light and easy to move, and it has a low slightly inclined backrest that extends imperceptibly into the armrests. As the name suggests, bridge armchairs were intended for card games notably bridge, but they can also be used as a spare armchair or for small spaces. Back cushions included.

Bench In 2006, Tectona launched its first product in powder-coated aluminium: a reimagining of the wrought-iron Directory Style original. The finesse and the equilibrium of the structure confer an ethereal grace to this bench, which went on to inspire the 1800 collection. The bench, available in blue-grey or black, is delivered with a seat cushion in white Sunbrella.

Circle Bench The Circle bench is a further demonstration of the neoclassic elegance that characterises the 1800 collection. It is inspired by the original now-iconic Circle bench in teak, reinterpreted here in aluminium decorated with the nub motif of the 1800 collection. BAMBOO COLLECTION

Bamboo Japanese-inspired This collection is inspired by the distinct design of bamboo “thatches” using hollow knotstudded poles. The International Exposition of 1867, held in Paris, hosted a Japanese section for the first time. The nature-inspired motifs on display there were adopted and interpreted by Western designers, especially in the decorative arts. Hence, bamboo would become a regular feature of the Art Nouveau style in cabinetmaking but also glassmaking and ceramics.

Pleasures of the table The armchair is the incarnation of comfort, featuring generously wide seating, an ideal reclining angle of the backrest and curved arms. The minimalist design concords with the collection’s Japanese theme. As for the table, the crosslegs ensure utmost stability and allow greater freedom of movement for human legs. The final elegant touch is provided by the tabletop in grey-veined marble, which also has the added advantage of ease of cleaning: just wipe over with a sponge!

Larch Wood, When Durability Matters As part of its commitment to durability and good practices, Tectona decided to expand its repertoire to larch, a conifer native to temperate regions of the Northern hemisphere, not at risk of extinction and offering characteristics comparable to those of teak. Its wood is particularly resistant, rot-proof and extremely dense. Traditionally it has been used in mountainous areas for building chalets and for furniture.

Soleil, an Iconic Collection Soleil, the first collection in larch wood, is the outcome of the collaboration between Tectona and Martin Szekely, an internationally renowned creator of objects and furniture and also a practicing cabinetmaker. Here, old-world woodworking techniques are combined with computer numerical control, enabling absolute precision in the assembly of furniture parts.

London Simple but Undeniably Sophisticated The London bench is the fruit of the labours of highly skilled craftspeople. Visually speaking, the simple structure of the seat emphasises the sophisticated geometric design of the backrest: the interplay of vertical and horizontal lines enclosing three circles, reminiscent of a ship’s portholes, naturally draw in the viewer’s attention to reveal unexpected perspectives. It is inspired by garden benches popular in England since the 19th century.

Lancaster From London to New Delhi The unique silhouette and simplified forms of the Lancaster bench were designed by the architect Edwin Lutyens (1869-1944), who drew inspiration from Neo-Classical English furniture, itself influenced by India, and from Arts and Crafts furniture. In the standard configuration, two leaves lie under the tabletop, one at each end of the table. To extend the table, you just have to slide them out, then add the required number of Folding armchairs (from the same collection — naturellement!). For ease of storage, the legs can be unscrewed from the table then placed snugly under the tablet.

TECTONA PARASOLS BETWEEN LIGHT AND SHADE

Inspired by the traditional parasols used by market gardeners, whose purpose was to protect stalls from the sun as much as to keep them cool. In 1986, Tectona created the Roma parasol which over time became, and continues to be, a bestseller. It was followed by many other parasols over the years. All parasols have always been manufactured at the same workshop in Rome where traditional parasol-making techniques have been passed down since four generations.

UNWAVERING STANDARDS

PARASOL CARE

Roma and all other Tectona parasols that came after have been developed to meet the needs of users: they are extremely resistant; can be moved with minimal effort; can be opened and closed easily; and have a design that is both classic and contemporary allowing them to blend in gracefully in their environment.

UNRIVALLED KNOW-HOW

Tectona parasols are available in several sizes. The canvases are handsewn and stretched over ribs (wood or aluminium), which insert into a runner on a mast made of wood (Roma) or aluminium (Sunbird, Florida). A ventilation system at the top of the mast provides wind resistance. Two models, in wood (Colibri) or aluminium (Flamingo), use a cantilever system that shades large areas and moreover pivots 360° so you can move the canopy in step with the sun’s movement. Both models can be opened and closed rapidly and easily, either by turning a crank or moving a sliding handle. Finally our parasol range also includes a tent (Butterfly) installed on two masts, either in wood or aluminium, and featuring a canopy that is resistant to sunshine and also rain. 128

Roma Iconic! Over time, the Roma parasol has become a Tectona icon. Here, traditional manual techniques meet the perfection demanded by the brand: handsewn canopies in waterproofed ecru cotton canvas or coloured Sunbrella. The Douglas pine wood, used in the ribs and the mast, is crafted as it has been for four generations by the Italian workshop that fabricates the parasols for Tectona.

Sublimate the Use The unique silhouette of Roma is easily discernible from the others! Whichever of the 12 sizes and colours you choose, the sturdy cast-steel base and the vent atop the canopy are constants. The parasol is firmly attached to the ground by the hardness of the wood and also the wooden struts, which have been handcrafted and perfectly inserted into the mast — there is zero risk of your parasol taking to the air.

TECTONA SHOWERS MAXIMUM REFRESHMENT

Our showers and posts, designed and fabricated in our workshop in Normandy, are available in teak, stainless steel or galvanised steel and fulfill the same needs as our furniture: they are beautiful, solid, durable and able to withstand the elements. In addition, they are resistant to corrosion in marine environments. The models in aluminium also receive a powdercoat treatment that reinforces their solidity and also makes maintenance easier.

SIMPLICITY ITSELF

DURING WINTER

The sober design of our showers and posts ensures that they blend into any environment without being visually disruptive. The concept is simple: a column in which water is drawn directly from a garden hose or a fixed plumbing installation. As an option, our showers can be fitted with a duckboard floor and a hot water regulator. The Eclipse Solaire shower incorporates an internal water reservoir that is heated by sunshine. A wide range of showerheads, in different sizes, round or square, is available.

FURNITURE CARE THE SECRETS FOR A LONG LIFE Tectona furniture, in teak, woven resin and aluminium, specially designed for the outdoors, is particularly resistant to atmospheric conditions and requires, in most cases, minimal care. Fabrics used in cushions, sun loungers and

parasols also require minimal care to maintain their initial sheen. To ensure a long life for your parasols, some precautions must be heeded. As for showers, there are some actions that must be performed in winter.

FURNITURE CARE

TEAK Beautiful natural protection Over time, the surface of teak develops an attractive silver-grey patina as a result of the protective oil naturally secreted by the wood. This oil renders teak fully rot-proof and explains how it came to be used so extensively outdoors, for example in ship decks and of course outdoor furniture. Care advice Care is minimal: once a year, clean your teak furniture with soapy water to remove impurities. To prevent a patina from forming If you want to maintain the original colour of your furniture, apply Wood Sealant* to slow down the formation of the patina. This product is also effective on tabletops.

To make the patina disappear Apply Net Trol** cleaning product, which easily removes the patina and restores the furniture to its original colour. To eliminate stains Non-greasy stains can be eliminated with water. Greasy stains require a textile cleaning product. Tips → Extremely dense, teak does not split; however a few cracks may appear on the surface → Teak oil, linseed oil and varnish are not recommended. They do not extend the lifetime of your furniture

SHOWER

Our parasol fabrics are resistant and water-repellent. Sunbird and Colibri models, and the Butterfly tent have an acrylic canvas, they must be dusted and washed uniformly. Roma parasols, an ecru cotton canvas or a coloured acrylic canvas.

Care instructions It is easy to care for outdoor showers. The primary danger to avoid is that of freezing water leading to burst pipes. For this reason, outdoor showers must be winterized: turn off water supplies to the shower; disconnect all of the shower’s water inlets; and leave all the shower’s taps in the open position.

Care advice Our parasol fabrics are water-reppelent. They must be dusted and washed uniformily. Detergents, which remove waterproofing, are to be avoided. Put your parasol into storage for winter To store your parasol roll it up and store in a dry place inside its storage sack or an old sheet; never under any circumstances store it in plastic.. To change the canopy Roma Tectona provides two options if you want to change the canvas of your Roma parasol. This service only applies to Roma parasols by Tectona. 1. Tectona takes your parasol, changes the canvas and redelivers to your home 2. Tectona sends the parasol canvas and you replace it thanks to the instructions

For showers with a showerhead, we recommend unscrewing the flexible hose from the showerhead so that water does not remain in the curved part of the flexible hose. For our showers and posts, we recommend winterising all the cartridges. For showers in type 316L stainless steel or in powder-coated steel, use a standard stainless steel cleaner.

General terms and conditions of sale 1. Precedence Our sales are subject to the present terms and conditions which take precedence over all purchasing terms, unless expressly stipulated otherwise by ourselves. 2. Reserve of property clause Goods sold remain the property of Tectona S.A. until payment of the amount invoiced has been received in full. However risks are transferred once the goods leave the seller’s stores and warehouses. In this case should payment not be made within the date agreed by both parties, the seller reserves the right to recup rate goods delivered, and if deemed necessary, to cancel the contract. 3. Price All taxes, duties, rights or other services requiring payment of whatever nature relating to the agreed sale and in application of French laws, standards and regulations or those applicable in the purchaser’s country of importation or in the country(ies) of transit, are to be borne by the purchaser. 4. Cancellation of orders No partial or full cancellation of any order passed in one of our sales outlets will be accepted without written agreement on our part. 5. Delivery lead times. Order processing Orders are processed within the limit of available stocks. For other countries, deliveries are based on quotation. Delivery lead times are according to a quotation. The purchaser may not invoke delivery delays as a reason to refuse goods unless such lead times are significant. We do not accept responsibility in the case of delays or nondelivery of all or part of orders in the following cases: a) Should the purchaser fail to respect the payment terms stipulated on our confirmation of order form; b) Should the information required to process the order fail to reach us in time; c) Should the delay or non-processing of the order result from, in particular, one of the following: strike, accident, fire, natural catastrophe, civil or national war, riots, impossibility to obtain supplies, delays on the part of our own suppliers and/or carrier and any other cause outside our control. 6. Deliveries Our goods are delivered duty-paid, free of charge in mainland France, for orders over € 2500. Goods are transported at the risk of the consignee. It is up to the consignee to report any anomalies to the carrier before accepting delivery of goods. Any anomalies must be noted on the delivery note, a copy of which will be kept by the customer who will confirm the said anomalies within 48 hours by registered mail to the carrier having made the delivery. The purchaser must indicate if deliveries are not on ground-floor level or will require special handling on passing the order. In this case, Tectona will have an estimate drawn up and submitted to the purchaser and any added expenses will be invoiced by Tectona to the purchaser.

7. Storage Should the delivery date be put back by the purchaser with sufficient warning to cancel the carrier, the goods are nonetheless considered to have been delivered at the date stipulated on the order confirmation. The invoice is in this case established according to the initial date and the goods are stored at the consignee’s expense and risk. 8. Payment a) Our prices are considered for payment on delivery of goods unless stipulated otherwise; b) Invoices are to be paid to our headquarters, irrespective of the terms indicated on the order forms submitted to us; c) Orders must be paid in full at the time of passing orders; d) Should a single payment not be made by a due date, all sums remaining due by the purchaser become due immediately and legitimately; e) It is expressly noted that any malfunction or repairs required of goods supplied will under no circumstances constitute a motif for non payment or for delayed payment of sums due by the purchaser; f) Payment is considered to be: not the submittal of a bill of exchange or a cheque entailing the requirement to pay, but the effective cashing by Tectona of the sum due at the agreed date. 9. Non payment In the case of overdue payment or non payment, Tectona may suspend all orders in hand. In addition and in application of Article 441-6 of French Commercial Law, any amount not paid at the agreed date legitimately gives rise, and without any forewarning, to payment of overdue interest at the valid legal interest rate at the day of invoicing plus four points. Interest will be charged from the day of the agreed payment date until full payment is made to Tectona (interest and costs in principle). 10. Warranty Our products are guaranteed for 2 years for normal outdoor use. The warranty does not cover damage due to improper use. 11. Insolvency. Bankruptcy Should the purchaser at any time either before or after the delivery of all goods not fully paid for, be declared insolvent, be the object of any request or procedure for bankruptcy or compulsory liquidation, the sale would immediately and legitimately be cancelled as soon as any one of the above should occur, unless we should notify the purchaser of our decision to maintain the sale. 12. Complaints Any complaint of whatever nature should be notified in writing and in detail, (registered mail) as soon as possible following reception of the goods, to the following address: 36 rue du Bac, Paris 75007 France.

Returned goods No goods for which the order was registered in one of our points of sale may be returned to us without our prior consent and our returning instructions.
