Our showers and posts, designed and fabricated in our workshop in Normandy, are available in teak, stainless steel or galvanised steel and fulfill the same needs as our furniture: they are beautiful, solid, durable and able to withstand the elements. In addition, they are resistant to corrosion in marine environments.
The sober design of our showers and posts ensures that they blend into any environment without being visually disruptive. The concept is simple: a column in which water is drawn directly from a garden hose or a fixed plumbing installation. As an option, our showers can be fitted with a duckboard floor and a hot water regulator. The Eclipse Solaire shower incorporates an internal water reservoir that is heated by sunshine. A wide range of showerheads, in different sizes, round or square, is available.
In Normandy, in the heart of Pays de Caux, in its Workshop, Tectona designs and develops showers for outdoor use. Tectona offers a wide range of showers: whether in teak, powder-coated aluminium or stainless steel, all models have been designed to blend in naturally with their surroundings, to resist corrosion and at the same time to be easy to use.
The assembly of every shower is a painstaking process requiring the know-how of our artisans: each component is carefully inspected before being precisely assembled, thereby ensuring maximum quality. From the selection of materials to the final assembly stage, our dedicated team is committed to creating showers that combine functionality and good looks, resulting in exceptional products for our clients.
If, after several years, your shower needs maintenance, our restoration Workshop will be happy to make it sparkle as new. Our After-Sales Service can also send you, as quickly as possible, any parts to replace those that have gone missing or been damaged over the years.

The water pipe and the showerhead, both made from stainless steel, are resistant to the sunshine, rain, cold!

For its first shower, Tectona turned to Inga Sempé, known for her sophisticated design. The outcome, Delta, is characterised by the absence of the superfluous. Starting from a straightforward teak duckboard, Inga Sempé designed a stainless steel structure simplified to the extreme so that it can blend harmoniously with any setting. The result is obvious and discreetly imposing. The shower connects to an ordinary garden hose.

Eclipse solaire combines the virtues of solar energy with teak’s nobility and resistance in a pure design. The sturdy structure is made from large rectangular-shaped sections, highlighting the natural beauty of teak. The rear of the shower is fitted with a matt black powder-coated stainless steel tank that absorbs the heat of the sun’s rays, providing 17 litres of hot water and 42 litres of mixed water. For maximum efficiency, the shower should be positioned with its back to the south.

Despite its diminutive size (1 meter high), the discreet Riva rectangular-sectioned post takes up very little space. It is made from stainless steel for ultimate corrosion resistance. Thanks to the handheld showerhead and the low tap, you can refresh yourself under the blazing sun or rinse yourself or your feet when returning from the beach or after climbing out of the swimming pool. The Riva Post is declined with or without thermostatic mixer.
→ The handheld showerhead is operated via the handle (similarly to a gardening spray gun)
→ The kit includes the shower hose, the showerhead, a sanitary elbow and a hook for attaching the hand shower.
→ The inline mixing valve functions as a mixing valve for mixing water from a hot-water pipe and from a coldwater pipe into one pipe to a temperature set by the user via the temperature control knob.
→ It can be installed for all shower models without a built-in valve (thermostatic mixer showers). It must be installed upstream of the hot/cold water supplies.
→ Flexible hoses are not included.
Shower hose length: 1,5 m
Suitable for shower models Quartz, Marina, Squadra and posts models Graphite and Riva
Suitable for the shower model Eclipse Solaire and the post model California
Outdoor showers are easy to maintain. It is strongly recommended, particularly rinse the shower with water (as sailors do on boats) to avoid salt deposits or external particles.
→ For teak showers, clean once a year using soapy water and a gentle brush
→ For stainless steel or powder-coated aluminium showers, use a stainless-steel cleaner
→ For showers with a showerhead, we recommend unscrewing the flexible hose from the showerhead so that water does not remain in the curved part of the flexible hose
→ For our showers and posts, we recommend winterising all the cartridges
It’s important to winterise your garden shower to protect it from the effects of frost. It is essential to turn off water supplies, disconnect all of the shower’s water inlets and leave all the shower’s taps in the open position.
→ Turn off water supplies
→ Disconnect all water inlets
→ Ensure taps are in open position
→ (for showerheads and foot showers) Unscrew the flexible hose so that water does not accumulate and store them frost-free
→ Ideally, we recommend storing your shower in a frost-free place during the winter
→ Place a protective cover (available separately) over the shower
All our showers and posts have optional protective covers (except for Delta and Niagara showers).
