Reflection To sum up, it has been a fantastic ride while doing the assignments with my peers in learning numerous types of laws, regulations, interior design practices in a fun way. The first assignment, although challenging, has taught me a great lesson on Active Fire Safety which we tend to overlook in real life. Trying to produce drawings for better and more efficient explanation was tedious but the results are a satisfying milestone for us. Meanwhile, Assignment 2 has allowed my peers and I to exchange various opinions regarding issues or topics related to interior designer’s roles in different aspects. We shared our views on topics ranging from licensure to fire safety, which was definitely an eye-opening experience to know my peers’ thoughts. Besides, Assignment 3 was interesting in the sense that we are able to imagine ourselves setting up an interior design practice in the future. From going into documents preparations to firm location selection, future goals and financial outlay, we are able to become entrepreneurs ourselves. Coming to the final individual assignment, it was a blessing to have a chance of working on our one-year project by going detailed into the technical parts, referring to the by-laws to see if our designs are complied to the necessary checklists. This definitely helps me to enhance my understanding regarding what I have learnt along the way in this module. Last but not least, I would like to thank Ms. Yasmin for being considerate and patient while teaching us to work on the assignments and gave useful advices on our progress in brushing up our work. It’s an honour to have you as our lecturer in our final semester, thank you Ms. Yasmin.
