INTRODUCTION
FIT RC2 Equipped The inverted FIT RC2 damper offers a lighter weight and higher performance package. This new damper (MY 2011 onwards) lowers the fork’s un-sprung weight, which allows it to react quicker, improving the RC2’s already legendary terrain following and front-end confidence.
With its unique, single-wall bladder design, the FIT RC2 damper provides increased reliability, and consistently fade-free damping. Improved Bottom-Out Control produces a virtually bottomless feel enhancing rider confidence and front-end control. The inverted damper offers an ultra-wide range of adjustability, giving riders tuning options for every course.

REBOUND REBOUND DHX RC4 Rebound damping controls how quickly the suspension returns after being compressed and gives you a predictable and controlled ride, while maintaining traction.
Assessing rebound by simply pushing on the handle bars or seat does not indicate the performance of the system in a dynamic environment. Save your judgment of rebound performance for a test section of trail.
REBOUND TOO FAST If rebound is too fast the bike will be unstable while pedaling and riding through shallow bumps. The unsettling effect is noticed as your body weight is pitched over the bike.
REBOUND TOO SLOW If rebound is too slow, there will be insufficient recovery between bumps to ensure successive bumps are absorbed. Harshness will be noticed on longer rough sections.

LOW-SPEED COMPRESSION Low-speed compression (LSC) damping refers to the damper force generated at low damper shaft speeds.
LSC damping provides resistance to the suspension being compressed slowly and with relatively low force. This relates to pedalling forces, changes in mass distribution, shallow and small bumps.
LSC TOO SOFT Changes in mass distribution, small and shallow bumps will cause excessive compression. A lack of support is noticed as the suspension uses excessive travel with minimal input.
LSC TOO FIRM Small bump sensitivity and traction will be compromised. A harsh ride and loss of traction is noticed over loose and rough terrain.

HIGH-SPEED COMPRESSION High-speed compression (HSC) damping refers to the damper force generated at high damper shaft speeds.
HSC damping provides resistance to the suspension being compressed quickly and relates to landings, large and square edge bumps.
HSC TOO SOFT Excessive use of travel (compression overshoot) on large and square edge bumps. A lack of support is noticed as the suspension dives through the travel on bump impact.
HSC TOO FIRM Large and square edge bump compliance is compromised. A lack of compliance is noticed with excessive rider fatigue and general harshness of ride.
