Welcome to the March Stamps and Postcards Sale. By a happy coincidence we have the opportunity to offer two impressive yet largely non-overlapping collections (Lots 1-85 and 86-100) that together cover Great Britain booklets and booklet panes of all reigns as well as strong plate blocks. The sale presents items hardly ever seen on the market, highlights being the sealed ‘Memoranda’ booklet of 1891 (Lot 1), a rare George VI slot-machine issue (Lot 61), a Wilding mis-cut booklet (Lot 64) and a wonderful range of specimen overprints and proofs. Both collectors were perfectionists keen on completion and their collections have been very enjoyable and exciting to go through. Joseph Addison Stamp Consultant
