Our Mission Statement

Full Throttle Media & Entertainment, LLC is proud to introduce Tennessee Full Throttle Magazine. We are an all-inclusive motor sport magazine. Tennessee Full Throttle Magazine will constantly endeavor to bring awareness of all Motor sports, both on land and on water. The thrill of motorcycles, dirt bikes, ATVs, boats, jet skis, and cars, to name a few, has fueled the imagination of all ages. From speed boats to slow fishing trawlers, from racing to cruising, a day on water or on land can be just as relaxing as it is challenging. Motor sports capture the attention of the whole family. While some drive and others ride along, no one should be left out. From toddlers to seniors there is a motor sport, or several Motor sports, just waiting to be discovered. Our goal is to introduce you to these sports and help you discover the wide variety of motor driven excitement, and to present safe family centered fun. Tennessee Full Throttle Magazine will have articles that will be informative about the machine, the people, and their causes. We would love and appreciate an opportunity to interview a motor sport organization, group or person, whether that be yourself or someone you know. We want

to learn about who you are and what you are all about and discuss the possibilities of a feature in Tennessee Full Throttle Magazine. Two Arkansas brothers decide they are going to do their patriotic duty and enlist in the military. The first recruiter’s office they come to is an Air Force recruiter. The two walk inside, and are greeted by the recruiter. “ Gentleman, what can I do for you today? He asks. One of the brothers speaks up. “ My name is Darryl, and this is my brother Billy Ray. We would like to join up, Sir.” “ Excellent, tell me men, what do you do for a living now?” The recruiter asks. Billy Ray says, “ I’m a pilot.” The recruiter breaks into a huge smile. “ Wonderful, we always need pilots in the Air Force. Come this way and we will get you all set up.” The recruiter leads Billy Ray out of the room to do his enlistment paperwork. After about ten minutes, the recruiter returns to talk to Darryl. The recruiter looks at Darryl and says, “ So what do you do for a living?” “ I’m a wood chopper.” Darryl replies. The recruiter frowns, “ Oh! Well, I am sorry, Sir. I am afraid I can’t help you.” Darryl gets a confused look on his face and asks the recruiter, “ What do you mean, you just took my brother?” “ That’s because your brother is a pilot. We need pilots in the Air Force. We just simply have no need for wood choppers in the Air Force.” Darryl again looks at the recruiter confused and says, “ Yeah, but I got to chop the wood before Billy Ray can pile it!”

Truckers Against Predators Truckers Against Predators is a network of truck drivers, parents and concerned citizens who advocate for the safety of America’s children every day. They work tirelessly to expose these predators while collaborating with both law enforcement and legislators to influence law and crime standards for child predators. The team monitors social media platforms, chat rooms, websites, games & forums. They are on the lookout for suspicious questions, conversations and connections. These trained adult volunteers act as decoys connecting with suspected criminals, engaging with them in a detailed process and setting a meeting place and time. The police are called on every case. TAP meets the alleged predator and confronts them live on video. The goal is that the exposure and evidence leads to an immediate arrest & public awareness. Truckers Against Predators was founded by Anthony Greene in 2017. Anthony founded TAP because, as a child, he was a victim of child abuse. Anthony saw it as an opportunity to help make a difference in the world.

In fact, some states’ laws dictate that, unless caught in the act, these types of scenarios are deemed “victimless crimes.” Anthony certainly did not agree with that, and neither would most parents. Knowing he could not keep quiet or stand by and do nothing, Anthony got to work and founded TAP. He began seeking out the predators, intercepting them at rendezvous points and exposing them on live video on social media. To date, Anthony is exposing predators almost every day of the week. The police are called ahead of time on every case. Transcripts and video footage are provided to them as evidence. Sometimes the predators are arrested, many times they aren’t. In Arizona, in particular, the city of Yuma Police Department works closely with Anthony and his team to bring justice. It is Anthony’s desire and goal to have great collaborations with every police department. Over the course of the last few years, Anthony has built up a team who help identify and draw out these monsters and expose them for their planned crimes. All of this work is done on personal time and without any compensation. Days, even weeks are spent on just one case to ensure extra caution and proper protocols are in place. Live meetups often last all night once the police are involved.

As a father and truck driver, Anthony Greene drives thousands of miles every month. While on the road, he saw the work of adult predators in truck stops and parking lots in both big cities and small towns across Anthony is active on social media and uses his voice America. Bikers Against Trafficking (BAT) was started in January, 2016 by Dr. Patrick “Doc” Nave and Diena Cannavino because of the great need that existed to educate those in the United States and around the world about the great tragedy know as Human Sexual Trafficking. At present BAT averages seeing 8 to 10 survivors a week for counseling. Doc has a doctoral degree in Psychotherapy; is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor & Masters Certified Addiction Professional in the state of Florida; an ordained minister; and owner of Sojourners Recovery & Wellness Center in Lake Mary, Florida. He is also a clinical expert in the area of Human Sex Trafficking and in dealing with issues of intense trauma. He is also a survivor. Diena is a Human Trafficking survivor who is a Certified Addiction Professional and the Business Director at Sojourners Recovery & Wellness Center in Lake Mary, Florida. She provides clinical counseling for survivors and seeks to make a difference in the lives of others.

Bikers Against Trafficking is a non-profit that exists to educate, equip, empower and mobilize members of the motorcycle community (and those who are like minded) to combat human sex trafficking by building awareness, providing counseling & freeing survivors.

We also have groups in Florida, Wisconsin and Kentucky and hope to grow to cover the world.

We have been invited to speak in the Netherlands, the Ukraine, Washington DC, at the United Nations, and at area biker rallies throughout the US. To honor those who served and to support those still serving. Our Patch There is an old saying in the motorcycle community ... “If it’s not in your heart, don’t put it on your back.” This is why we designed every single detail of our back-patch with a specific meaning. Our organization’s colors are the same as those of our nation ... Red, White, and Blue. These colors represent the patriotism that each of us share, as evidenced by our chosen professions. The U.S. Flag is tattered, symbolizing the hardships endured while serving our communities, states, and nation ... as well as those endured by our families that stand with us. The background of the patch is white to remind us of the purity of our mission and that we represent something larger than ourselves. The patch is bordered in black. This is to honor those who are no longer with us; true heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice. The figures on the patch are silhouetted. This is to represent all who serve, or have served, regardless of gender, age, race, religion, heritage, or social status. These silhouettes are positioned in front of the flag, standing tall. This is to inform all who see our patch that we stand for our flag, we stand by our oaths, and we stand together as family ... Hometown Heroes U.S. is a motorcycle based association of men and women who understand the true definition of service. Our members are current or former Military, Law Enforcement, Firefighters, Search and Rescue, Emergency Medical Services, 911 Dispatchers, and family members who share a certain “esprit de corps” along with a passion for riding motorcycles. We are law-abiding citizens who are united in supporting and serving our communities, states, and nation. Tennessee Human Trafficking BE AWARE

Human Trafficking is modern-day slavery, plain and simple. It happens here. And it has to stop.

The first reason is related to transportation and location. Nashville is one of only six U.S. cities where 3 major interstates converge. Additionally, you can reach 75% of the U.S. market within a 2-hour flight time from Nashville, making it a strategic point for movement around the country. Nashville is also in close proximity to Atlanta – a large metropolitan area known for high amounts of human trafficking – and this adds to the transportation of victims throughout the state.

In the United States, on average, every two minutes a child is bought or sold for sex. The average age of a child sold for sex is 13 years old. Human Trafficking is the second-fastest growing criminal industry, just behind Drug Trafficking.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has reported that human trafficking is the second-highest rising crime in the state. This type of exploitation can begin in childhood or adolescence. The crime of human trafficking and consists of three core elements: the act, the means, the purpose. Physical and sexual abuse, blackmail, emotional manipulation, and the removal of official documents are used by traffickers to control their victims. Exploitation can take place in a victim’s home country, during migration or in a foreign country. Human trafficking has many forms. These include exploitation in the sex, entertainment and hospitality industries, and as domestic workers or in forced marriages. Victims are forced to work in factories, on construction sites or in the agricultural sector without pay or with an inadequate salary, living in fear of violence and often in inhumane conditions. Some victims are tricked or coerced into having their organs removed. Children are forced to serve as soldiers or to commit crimes for the benefit of the criminals.

A VICTIM’S STORY

Tonya spent night after night in different hotel rooms, with different men, all at the command of someone she once trusted. She was held against her will, beaten and made to feel like she had no other option at the time, all by the man she thought she loved. She felt she deserved it. Tonya felt she couldn’t escape. Afraid and confused, she thought the emotional and physical abuse she endured was her own doing. Tonya (a pseudonym) was a victim of human trafficking. “He made me feel like I was doing it because I loved him, and in the end, we’d have a really good [financial] reward,” Tonya said. When Tonya was 13, she met Eddie (a pseudonym) at the apartment she was living in with her mother in the Dallas, Texas, area. His estranged wife was the property manager. Tonya was classmates with Eddie’s stepdaughter, so the two would often see each other at the apartment and in the local grocery store. It was there that the two first exchanged numbers. “It was a casual relationship at first. You could see there was a mutual connection. I thought he was cute,” Tonya recalled. “I could tell he was really flirtatious with me. We would talk and flirt a lot, but it was not much more than that until we met again when I was 15.” Things began to change one night when Tonya ran into Eddie at a bar. The two reconnected, the flirting picked up where it left off and Tonya went home with Eddie that night. Tonya was a runaway at the time, so she eventually moved in with Eddie and the two began a relationship. It was a “normal” arrangement at first. Tonya would cook, clean and look after Eddie’s kids from time to time. However, it was when the two were at a party filled with alcohol and drugs that the relationship took a turn. “He approached me and told me in so many words, ‘I want you to have sex with this guy for money,’” Tonya said. “I was very uncomfortable and I kept saying no, I didn’t want to do it. He kept telling me, ‘If you love me, you’ll do this. It’s just one thing. Just try it.’” After nearly 30 more minutes of constant pressure, Tonya agreed to have sex with the man. What she thought would be a one-time thing became an everyday routine for the next few weeks. Night after night and bar after bar, Tonya would go out with Eddie while he advertised her to potential “suitors.” Tonya thought she loved him. She felt she could deal with the physical toll the trafficking took on her body. It turned out that the hardest part to deal with was the emotional and psychological effects.

“Being able to sleep with that many people and live with myself and get up every day and keep doing it and just lying there being helpless was so hard,” Tonya said. Help eventually came for Tonya in the form of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Special Agent Keith Owens. The Grand Prairie, Texas police department had received a tip about Eddie’s crimes and passed the case on to HSI Dallas. Owens and his team took over, moved in and arrested Eddie. Eddie pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 12 years in prison on May 29, 2015. During the sentencing hearing, Tonya had to testify. Having to hear and see the man who trafficked her was difficult, especially not knowing what the outcome would be and whether he would be convicted. “Telling people publicly about what I’d been through made me feel more ashamed because I’d never told anyone or was open about it,” Tonya said. “Keith and [HSI Dallas special agent] Allison [Schaefer] were the only two people I’ve really told everything to.” Tonya feels her life is a little better now. She doesn’t think or talk about what she’s been through and doesn’t want people to know that was once a part of her life. Her focus is on moving forward. “I want to finish getting my GED and go to community college, take on journalism, go to college and study political science and pre-law,” she said. “I just want to live a normal life, accept my past and not run from it.” Eventually, Tonya knows that she will have to talk about her experience again. If she has kids one day, she wants to be able to tell them what their mother went through. She wants them to know what to look out for and how to avoid going through something as awful as she did. Until then, she passes along her words of encouragement to anyone who may be experiencing what she did. She wants any victims out there to know they are not alone. “You’re worth something. You’re very important to someone,” Tonya said. “No matter what he says, it’s not true. You’re worth something.”

Tolliver’s Travels Harley-Davidson engines are a line of engines manufactured since 1903 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin by the Harley-Davidson company for ise in its motorcycles. Now made in various factories in York, Pennsylvania; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Kansas City, Missouri (closing); Manaus, Brazil; and Bawa;, India. Although, the Harley Family started making smaller flathead motorcycle engines individually by hand and fitted to bicycle in the 10ft x 15ft wooden barn in Milwaukee that was the Harley-

Davidson workshop of the time, prior to that in 1901. That first bike was a single cylinder model, based roughly on the recentlydeveloped De Dion-Bouton internal combustion engine. The company was soon fully committed to producing it’s own proprietary engine designs, and by 1909 the first HarleyDavidson V-Twin engine had been designed and made, setting a template for engine design that lasts until today.

Veteran Helping Horses Help Humanity Over eight years ago, Ms. Machacek devoted herself to the care of abandoned and abused farm animals. Becoming an official IRS 501(C)3 Non profit organization, she has expanded her scope to bring together these amazing animals with caring participants. As a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, she combines her

leadership skills with the compassion for these animals to enable participating individuals to be in a safe agricultural environment benefiting from the outdoors and fun natural setting. Ms. Machacek is a Sevier County native, who traveled and spent time in various cultures. Her family owned a small local farm and she now

implements a broad world view into each of her farming projects. ETEC is a culmination of many volunteer hands and has the highest respect and regard for individual contribution in a community setting. Teaching and growing character is a life long pursuit for all involved at ETEC Farm.

Programs Offered Rescue Animal Welfare- ETEC is a rescue resource for farm animals and serves as one of the equine centers devoted to the care and rehabilitation of horses, pigs, goats, chickens, and other country critters. Every year, ETEC youth provide the “last chance” for dozens of abused, neglected, and abandoned farm animals who have nowhere else to go. Many of the animals find their forever homes.​ Humane Education - ETEC gives hundreds of participants a chance to meet our rescued animals and learn the ETEC ABCs – AWARENESS of others, BEING KIND to ourselves and each other, and COMPASSION for all. Each individual will be assigned a specific animal to care for and provide nurturing to during the course. Leadership and Mentoring Program - Due to demand we are offering a leadership and mentoring opportunity for chosen individuals. This is an essay driven application based program that allows those who chose to become farm team leads. The candidates will be involved in the upcoming seasons curriculum choices!! Raised Bed Gardening - Our participants will design and build raised beds for planting the summer flower selection. This is a team based program and all are expected to participate in the planting, maintenance and care of our gardens. Our goal is to provide our animals with nutritious food to supplement their diets. Spring/Fall Planting Schedule - In an outdoor classroom environment we will research viable crops for out upcoming season. Working in a group environment the soil prep and planting of choice vegetable crops will be implemented. Garden Maintenance - We all will commit to weeding, watering and general care of both the flower and vegetable gardens. This is a unifying and bonding process with other participating youth intent on building cooperative skills. ​ Harvesting Schedule - We will task all participants to harvest the crops, allowing them to devise a schedule of how and when the harvest will take place. This will include making provisions for the items harvested by participation in a community farmers market. Farmers Market/Community Giving - ​Our Farm Teams will work directly with churches, missions and individuals for our produce Give Back Program. This year we will be providing them with an opportunity to develop our own farmers market at the ETEC farm. Building vegetable stalls, advertising, licensing to sale and distribute our produce will be on our agenda.

The 4th of July and Proverbs 16 I think sometimes we forget about all the cool stuff in Proverbs. I am generally a dyed-in-the-wool KJV person, but if I am reading the bible for fun, I like The Message, written by Eugene Peterson. I can be very ADD when I study, going off on rabbit trails, looking up definitions, and chasing down interesting tidbits that catch my spirit. The Message is like Cliff notes or bottom-line thoughts. Today, I found Proverbs 16:33. Make your motions and cast your votes, but God has the final say. This verse simply leaped out of the page and wrapped itself around my neck in a hug. The political shenanigans are moving too fast for me to keep up with. Everyone has an opinion about the events going on around us. I try to figure it out, but my swirling mind gets overloaded. Since I know that God is in control, I often wonder why we should even pray if He is going to do what He wants anyway. At least this is my attitude, even when I know a lot more verses tell us to pray. To my great delight, Proverbs 16 has come to my rescue. Independence Day, the 4 th of July, when we celebrate our freedoms and remember the great sacrifices that countless people have made to maintain our freedoms, we must not lose sight of the forces that are hard at work to destroy those very freedoms. Proverbs 16 says there is a way

that looks harmless enough; look again – it leads straight to hell (vs25).

It says mean people spread mean gossip (vs 27), troublemakers start fights; gossips break up friendships (vs 28), and of calloused climbers who betray their very own friends: they’d stab their grandmothers in the back (vs 29). It warns that a shifty eye betrays an evil intention; a clenched jaw signals trouble ahead (vs 30). So…what are we to do? Go back

to the beginning of the chapter and read the sweet simple truths of Gods plan for how we should live. He says we, as humans, are satisfied with what looks good, but He probes for what is good. That chapter is rich in the dynamics of a good life in the Lord, well worth your read. The words there will balance this crazy mess and direct your attitude to victory. As we remember to live in His ways, grateful for the sacrifices made for our freedoms, He will continue to lead us in all truth and mercy. TAT

CHICKEN CACCIATORE

2-3 tablespoons olive oil 1 (3-pound) chicken cut into eighths Salt and freshly ground black pepper 1 pound cremini mushrooms, quartered 1 large red onion, halved and thinly sliced 1 large yellow bell pepper, thinly julienned 1 Serrano or jalapeno chile, finely diced 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced 1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes 1/2 cup dry red wine 1 cup low-sodium canned chicken broth 1 (15-ounce) can diced tomatoes and their juices 3 sprigs fresh rosemary 2 tablespoons aged balsamic vinegar or capers 3 tablespoons chopped fresh basil leaves 1 pound spaghetti (size 8 or 9) cooked al dente Basil sprigs Freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano

Heat 2 tablespoons of the oil in a large Dutch oven over high heat. Season the chicken pieces on both sides with salt and pepper and place in the pan, skin side down and cook until golden brown, 3 to 4 minutes. Turn the breasts over and cook until golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes. Remove the chicken to a large plate.

1-2 pounds hamburger 1/2 pound chopped bacon 1 or 2 large onions, chopped 1 cup ketchup 1/4 cup mustard 1 tablespoon vinegar or red wine 1/2 cup molasses 2 teaspoons salt 3/4 cup brown sugar 1 large can pork & beans 1 can pinto beans 1 can navy beans 1 can kidney beans

Fry bacon in 12” oven. Add hamburger and onion, cook 7 to 10 minutes. Add remainder of ingredients and mix well. Cover and cook for 30-60 minutes.

LAZY BAKED MACARONI & CHEESE

1 pound uncooked macaroni 2 tablespoons butter, melted 1 pound shredded American cheese 2 (12 fluid ounces) cans evaporated milk 2 cups water 4 eggs 2 teaspoons mustard powder Add the remaining oil to the pan and heat until almost 1 teaspoon salt smoking. Add the mushrooms and cook until golden 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper brown, season with salt and pepper and remove to a 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Add the onion and bell pepper to the pan and cook until soft, 3 to 4 minutes. Add the Serrano, garlic and chili flakes to the pan and cook for 1 minute. Stir in the wine and cook until almost completely reduced. Add the chicken stock, tomatoes, and rosemary and bring to a simmer. Return the chicken and mushrooms to the pan, reduce the heat to medium-low, cover the pan for 10 minutes and serve.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) In a shallow three-quart baking dish, toss uncooked macaroni and melted butter together, to coat the macaroni and the inside of the dish. Add cheese, and stir lightly to distribute. In a medium bowl, whisk together the evaporated milk, water, eggs, mustard powder, salt, white pepper and cayenne pepper. Pour in to the baking dish with the macaroni. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes, or until the center is set. Remove from the oven, and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
