2008. University of Zulia, Faculty of Architecture. 6Th Semester. The workshop of the Americas 2008, a replica of the same Workshop of the Americas 2005, was a joint effort of several Latin American universities in conjunction with Ball State University in Indianapolis, USA, to generate proposals to emergency situations, where the process it focuses to Events Oriented Designing (EOD). The most interesting case, as in 2005, all the interaction of the entire design process was totally made via Internet. The basic proposal was to design a hotel that in emergency would become a hospital very quickly. Presentation is in Poster format. Profs: Gabriela Bustos, Ivan Burgos and Maria Veronica Machado.
