Measurements on our output included our use of electricity, heat, staff commuting, and waste at all locations. The data we collected will then be used to look for ways to reduce our carbon footprint. It’s a win-win for everyone as there are numerous benefits to joining this program. By tracking our carbon emissions and finding ways to reduce our impact on the environment, we can also cut costs and gain savings, which benefits everyone including our members. To recognize our achievement in obtaining the Climatesmart designation, all of our branches will be displaying a certificate granted by the program.
