KAKEYLA MANNING

KAKEYA MANNING

Owner of Specialty Healthcare Located in Ridgeland, MS. Kakeyla has embarked on a new business venture, opening a Specialty Healthcare office in Booneville, Mississippi. They offer transportation too!

Kakeyla Sheriff-Manning was born in Jackson, MS. The oldest of three sisters, Kakeyla was born to the late Robert Earl Sheriff and Laura Jean Sheriff. She has lived in MS all of her life. She has been married to Loyd C Manning Jr. for 15 years. To this union 5 children was born. Loyd C III 20, Kyla 15, Thomas 13, Azreol 12 and Sholomon 9. Kakeyla received her High School education from Callaway High School in 1990. She received her degree in Computerized Office Technology/Medical Assisting in 1997. She decided to further her education at HCC for nursing and graduated as HOSA President with a degree in nursing. Soon after graduating Kakeyla found out that she was pregnant. Pregnant with a baby that she was not suppose to be able to conceive. Thomas was diagnosed with AUTISM. He was so special in his very own way, the Autistic Way! She was told that he would never talk, speak or read. But GOD, through lots of prayers and support from family and friends, Thomas is a walking miracle. “Thomas is able to talk, read and operate a computer better than you and I. He knows money when he sees it, colors and can dress himself.

As Kakeyla began her career journey, she soon gained employment at Prime Care Nursing Home. She worked as an LPN for 10 years as a Private Duty Nurse. On June 9th, 2010 Kakeyla expanded her family and adopted two kids. A daughter name Azereol and a son name Sholomon. They made their family a success because Kakeyla has always dreamed of a family of FIVE!

Kakeyla achieved her dream of always wanting to own her own business! Her motto is, “ We will not rob, steal or kill to get what we want. We will work for it. We only want what God has for us.”

After the adoptions, Kakeyla and her husband decided to have gastric by-pass surgery. Kakeyla’s surgery was a success but on the other hand, Cliff’s didn’t go very well. After about 6 months and 3 surgeries his by-pass was reversed to a gastric sleeve. But during this horrific journey people would always ask for help with their special needs children. So, they decided not to turn anyone away. They started Specialty Healthcare. They have been in business for two years. After thirteen years of nursing experience, they now have programs for the elderly and special needs loved ones.

WORLD ECONOMY LIFE COACH

Joyce is a Life Coach, Strategist and a Dream Catalyst.

Author, Speaker & Empowerment Coach

What I discovered is that people were missing the practical application after hearing the spiritual message.

Intro

How did you get into coaching and what motivated you to do so? I have 25 years in ministry on both an ordained pastoral level and as a national itinerate speaker. That level of exposure allows you to encounter many people in many different stages of life. What I discovered is that often times people were missing the practical application after hearing the spiritual message. They struggled with how to live what they were being inspired to do. Coaching became a way to help people identify goals, develop action steps and hold them accountable to those steps, in order to really witness growth and success in their lives. It is highly rewarding for both myself and the client.

Do you mainly focus on women and what kinds of issues do you help women with? Although as a motivational speaker I speak to general audiences, as an empowerment coach, my target market is women. I serve as a life strategist and dream catalyst to help them wake up to their dreams in order to get unstuck and move them forward in their lives, businesses and ministries. Many of my clients struggle in the area of self-confidence, getting clear on their true purpose, letting go of limiting beliefs about themselves and their abilities and are unsure how to move forward in the development of the dreams they have for their lives, ministry and businesses.(www.joycegilmer.
