I love playing Baseball. I can also fly drones really good, and I play the drums. I have two businesses that I own. I am the CEO of Josiah’s Photography and the 2nd Junior VP of Engineering of Smart Technology, LLC. Photography is something I like doing. I like to capture people in their moments. My God sister Kina Johnson helped me to learn photography.

I love Engineering because I get to use my mind to figure things out and develop cool things. My Dad started teaching me how to read blueprints at a very young age. That grew into my love for building Legos.

ENGINEERING

I also love going to Disney World with my family. My Dad has inspired me Most, and my Mom has inspired me to sing.

I started Baseball at one and a half years old with my Daddy. I want to be a Major League Baseball player and a Top Engineer and develop things to help people and make things better.

Evie Abstract Impact Art

I am a creative nine-year-old who loves to paint abstract art. I started my own business, Abstract Impact Art, two years ago, and I sell my paintings and prints at events like the Hampton Roads Children’s Business Fairs. I actually started my business because my school, Acton Academy Hampton Roads, hosts the Hampton Roads Children’s Business Fair. At our school, we all have to come up with a business idea, develop a brand, create a product or service, build a marketing strategy, and then open a business.

I began this journey two years ago when I was seven years old. I just really loved painting, and I wanted to share my art with other people. Abstract Impact Art offers

colorful and unique paintings and prints created by me. Each piece is filled with energy and emotion, perfect for adding a pop of creativity to any space. I also offer custom commissions for those looking for something truly one-of-a-kind.

I love creating beautiful paintings that make people happy and inspired! It’s so much fun to mix all the colors together and see what cool designs I can come up with. My mom is my biggest inspiration because she’s not just my

mom, she’s also my “momager” – she helps me with everything from managing my business to cheering me on at races. My dad inspires me too because he’s always full of great ideas and helps me brainstorm new projects. My sister Emma is another big inspiration because she helps me sell my art and is always there to support me. My grandma and Pop Pop – they’re always so supportive and encouraging, which means a lot to me.

I also love to run, and do so with the Tidewater Striders New Energy run club. Outside of business, I’m really excited about my goal to run a seven

minute mile by June 2024! It’s a big challenge, but I’m determined to work hard and make it happen. Running is something I love, and hitting this milestone will be a huge accomplishment for me.

Elijah Adventure Time Eli

I’m Eli, the proud owner of Adventure Time Eli, where my focus lies on supporting wildlife and endangered species conservation. I strive to raise awareness and foster active participation in conservation efforts through social media engagement, online activities, and summer camps.

Adventure Time Eli is my brainchild, dedicated to wildlife and endangered species conservation. I offer summer camps and organize group presentations on turtles and conservation. These presentations cover a wide range of topics, from animal care in domestic captivity to maintaining spaces for wildlife.

I also emphasize the importance of observing and peacefully engaging with nature in our surroundings.

I draw inspiration from various sources, including Wild Kratts, Urban Rescue Ranch, Brave Wilderness, Turtle Holic, The Turtle Room, and Kamp Kentan, for their unwavering dedication to wildlife conservation. The most exhilarating moments of my life include acquiring my first turtle and reconnecting with family, especially meeting my brother.

Family is everything to me. While I enjoy outdoor activities and conservation efforts, I’m not particularly fond of sports and mundane chores.

I’m excited about the prospect of volunteering at the Virginia Living Museum, where I can further immerse myself in environmental education and conservation efforts. Through these endeavors, I’m committed to making a meaningful impact on wildlife preservation and inspiring others to join me on this journey.

My six turtles, all native to the United States of America, serve as ambassadors for their species.

We sell 3D prints and custom handcrafted shadowboxes. We also offer 3D printing as a service. If a customer has a file, we can print it for them. Also, if they have a small design, we can create it and print it. The items we sell vary from dragons, animals, fidgets, keychains, mystery dragon eggs, and shadowboxes.

Timothy says, “I began 3D printing when I asked for a 3D printer for my 13th birthday. I wanted a Creality Ender 3 because I saw it on a YouTube video. I went on to print and learn more about printers and the hobby in general. In May 2021, my mom asked if I wanted to start a business with her where we would sell handmade crafts and 3D prints. I thought it was a great idea because I could make money to fund my hobby.”

Timia says, “In 2020, my brother Terrence and I saved up our money and bought a Toybox 3D printer. I realized I wasn’t into 3D printing, so I asked how I can do my art in the business. My mom then started putting my artwork on mugs, and we would sell them at vendor events. In 2021, Timothy gave me a 3D dragon and I painted him. I love being creative and adding my own touch.”

27

For Terrence, he shares, “In 2023 I started helping my brother print things. After proving it to him I gained the skills from practicing on the Toybox. I enjoy meeting new people when we are at vendor events.”

Thaddeus says, “A long time ago Timothy gave me a print and told me to try to break it. It was hard, it took me a long time. I love that I get to test all the products. My mom always tells people at events when they think they will break it that it has passed the Thaddeus test.”

28

What’s next?

Terrence says, “I’m going to put more time into my CAD skills so eventually I will design the items we sell instead of paying other designers.” Thaddeus plans to start printing things. Timia plans to to get better supplies and have her details stand out. Timothy says,”I plan to upgrade all of my printers and optimize the printing profiles. I also want to learn Fusion360 and get a dedicated location for shadowNprints.”
