Four Points Cebu's landscape was envisioned to reflect the oceanic beauty and vibrant aquatic life of Mactan Island. The challenge was to create a cohesive and immersive outdoor experience that seamlessly integrates the natural surroundings with modern landscape design elements
Design Solution
Water Features:
Blubber Fountains were located at the drop-off area, to serves as a focal point and set a welcoming tone for guests, shallow pools were integrated along seating areas to create serene spaces for relaxation and visual appeal, and an infinity swimming pools was designed to blend seamlessly with the ocean view, enhancing the connection between the property and the sea.
Modern Landscape Elements:
Bridges and walkways were incorporated to provide functional and aesthetic value, creating a light and airy atmosphere that complements the modern design.
Preservation of Flora:
Existing trees were strategically preserved to highlight the natural beauty of Mactan Island’s flora and provide shade, contributing to a cooler environment for guests.

Batulao Artscapes is a large-scale mixed-use development that aims to combine tourism and residential living with a focus on an active retirement village component. The challenge is to create a landscape design that: Integrates Diverse Facilities: Incorporate world-class amenities including pools, clubhouses, parks, and art spaces, while maintaining a cohesive design. Enhances Pedestrian and Eco-Friendly Living: Promote a pedestrian-friendly environment with bicycle and walking paths, and integrate sustainable practices
Design Solution
Village Amenities: Design a central hub where the manmade beach, clubhouse, and lake with the wedding chapel are strategically placed. Use natural materials and landscaping to blend these amenities with the surrounding environment.
Pathways: Create an extensive network of pedestrian and bicycle paths that connect key amenities. Use permeable paving and green roofs to enhance sustainability.
Art Parks and Galleries: Develop themed art parks that showcase local art and create gallery spaces that offer cultural experiences. Incorporate interactive and immersive art installations.

Lanson Place is a contemporary lifestyle hotel with a 250-room hotel and 150-room serviced suites catered to business travelers. The landscape design features a podium-level garden deck and modern pool amenities
The distinct angular design of the garden deck accessible by steps leads to a wide turf area. Fine-textured planting materials complement the design with a modern arrangement of planters tree boxes, and decks to create a cool and relaxing feel amidst the urban scene.

Element by Westin aimed to redefine the extended-stay experience with a nature-inspired landscape design philosophy. The challenge was to create a multifunctional outdoor area that enhances guest wellness, recreation, and connectivity to nature while ensuring accessibility and security.
Multifunctional Spaces: Creating public and private areas within the landscape to cater to various activities such as wellness, recreation, and celebrations.
Accessibility and Security: Ensuring easy and secure access to hotel services, including jogging paths, ramps, and access roads for golf carts and back-of-house operations
Sustainable Solutions: Integrating natural water management systems and promoting environmental sustainability.
Design Solution
The landscape design was centered around a fully landscaped outdoor activity area adjacent to the hotel amenities, planned around a central open lawn. This approach aimed to create a serene and functional environment for guests.
View Decks:
Topography Preservation: View decks were strategically placed to preserve the site’s natural topography, offering guests scenic vistas while maintaining the landscape’s integrity.
Wellness and Recreation: Created an edible garden to encourage sustainable practices and provide fresh produce for guests and developed bicycle paths to promote an eco-friendly lifestyle and provide a recreational activity for guests.
Accessibility and Security: Designed jogging paths and ramps to ensure easy and inclusive access throughout the property. Incorporated access roads for golf carts and back-of-house operations to maintain seamless service and security.
Natural Water Management:
Implemented natural water catchment and drainage systems to manage rainwater effectively and sustainably. Introduced a rain garden to enhance water absorption and provide a visually appealing natural element.
