the mysterious spherical element. Its fragility requires that we treat it very gently, in the same way we have to treat our life. Calm and peace invade the instant and then we look inside it for discovering, through a beam of light, the true treasure located on the top of a base, as if it was something sacred. Tasting is the end of the ritual, which emphasizes the philosophy of winning life through each bite.

“Immerse yourself in a journey of calm

The inspiration for this piece/work comes from sensations, from the intention of generating experiences. The peace sensation we have before the vigil. Looking on my memories and using/taking advantage of the properties and tex-

tures that ceramics offer, we want to start a trip, an intangible journey where the isolation gives you quiescence and harmony/peace. Cocoon is a ceramic dome where the user submerges in its thoughts, in a way

that relaxation becomes total. The piece shape leads the senses to a place with no distractions. The acoustics simulates a cave where only the breathing breaks the silence, and the stifled rumor from what is happening outside allows the user to rest/ relax. An orifice on the top directs the gaze to nowhere, to a place where all we sees are irrelevant, only the sensations given by the fusion between the material texture and the portion of reality that we can perceive.
