STRELA-10T ADMS

Designation of ADMS “Strela-10Т” The “Strela-10Т” ADMS is designed for covering units and small-size objectives of the Army against low-flying aircraft, helicopters, cruise missiles and other unmanned air vehicles in all kinds of the battle, on the march and at positions under the conditions of electronic jamming day and night. The main distinction of the newly developed system from the base-line version consists in its round-the-clock employment. The “Strela-10Т” ADMS is capable of destructing the above-mentioned types of targets featuring a cross range of up to 3000 m and flying at speeds of up to 420 m/s when approaching and up to 310 m/s when receding at ranges of 800-5000 m and at altitudes of 10-3500 m. Main Distinctions of the “Strela-10Т” from its Base-line Version The “Strela-10Т” ADMS has been developed on the basis of the “Strela10М2” ADMS. Unlike the base-line version the upgraded combat vehicle of the newly developed system is able to carry out round-the-clock combat operations. The availability of data transmission equipment enables data exchange between combat vehicles (“leader-second” mode) as well as remote control of the combat operation process in the course of repelling aerial enemy strikes. The combat vehicle of the “Strela-10Т” ADMS accommodates: - electro-optical system EOS-1ТМ; - digital computer system; - navigation equipment GPS; The equipment of the “Strela-10Т” ADMS can be installed on a wheeled chassis. Electro-optical System EOS-1ТМ The EOS-1TM electro-optical system is intended for day-and-night detection, automatic tracking and coordinate measurement of tracked targets. The EOS-1TM system comprises: - thermal image channel; - TV-channel; - laser range finder; - equipment for automatic tracking of targets; - equipment for information display.

Electro-optical system EOS-1ТМ

The thermal image channel houses a non-cooled thermal image camera ensuring day-and-night detection of targets. There are two TV-cameras mounted in the thermal image channel providing a surveillance channel (wide field of vision) and an aiming channel (narrow field of vision). The TV-channel ensures detection of targets both in the daytime and in the twilight (in the conditions of low illumination). The laser range finder ensures ranging of the targets tracked by the thermal image channel or TV-channel. Digital Computer System The ADMS digital computer system ensures automated solution of the following tasks: - detection, selection and automatic tracking of various aerial targets; - launching (formation of “target-in-zone” criterion); - launcher aiming and SAM launch; - receipt and realization of external target designation; - control of combat operations of the unit composed of up to 6 CVs of the “Strela-10T” ADMS (data exchange between CVs). - training of the combat crew and CVs’ functional check. GPS Navigation Equipment The GPS navigation equipment is intended for determining current coordinates of the CV, its speed and time by signals of the GPS NAVSTAR satellite navigation system at any point of the world and at any time irrespective of the climatic conditions.

The GPS equipment data are used during data exchange between CVs of the “Strela-10T” ADMS (feeding target designation, operation in the “leadersecond” mode).
