A particular advantage of this product is its modular format of construction.

Options for product flexibility are greatly enhanced because of the modular design and specials can easily be created with little added cost. Options include NEMA motor inputs, hydraulic motor inputs, extended input shafts, special shaft diameters and stainless steel hollow bores, anti corrosive paint surfaces and bespoke coupling arrangements.

All units are interchangeable with other gearbox manufacturers footprint and critical dimensions. Units are designed to accept a full range of B14 & B5 motor input flanges. Units are lubricated for life with synthetic lubricant.

Hydro-Mec Gearboxes

Square frame single piece aluminium alloy housings, vacuum impregnated (MIL-STD 276) for protection and sealing. No secondary finish is required but units readily accept paint if required. Casings are precision machined for alignment of bearings and gearing. High helix angle worm is case hardened and ground.

Teeth are profiled and radiused for noise reduction and enhanced efficiency. Bronze alloy worm gears are centrifugally cast on to an iron hub for maximum strength and superior life.

Units are lubricated for life with synthetic lubricant.

Stainless Steel Gearboxes

A complete range of stainless steel motors suitable for use in food industry and pharmaceutical industry applications where washdown is necessary. IP65, class F and suitable for inverter control. Nameplates are laser etched. Motors are BISSC Certified.

Smooth Line 100% stainless steel gear cases designed for use in high clean environments.

Units are lubricated for life and pressure tested for leaks before dispatch. Units can be fitted with protective oil seal cups to withstand high pressure cleaning.
