A HAPPIER, MORE EFFICIENT KITCHEN are designed to create efficiency, convenience and peace of mind, so we can spend less time on chores and more on what matters most. Picture this: your wall hood automatically turns on when you start cooking, a simple slide of a pan changes its temperature, your oven shuts off and notifies you when dinner is ready, and you can skip drying dishes post-dishwasher cycle. It’s all possible in the Bosch kitchen of 2021.

Chef Curtis Stone shares 5 tips 2021 BRANDPOINT The kitchen has long been the heart of the home, and now more than ever is central to our lifestyles. With 60% of Americans discovering a greater appreciation for cooking throughout the pandemic and planning to upgrade their kitchens as a result, Michelin-starred Chef Curtis Stone is sharing his favorite appliances, features and tips that have allowed his family to better savor more time at home. “As a chef, restaurant owner and father of two, I’m a strong believer in making your kitchen work harder for you. Whether you prioritize keeping your food fresher longer or find yourself experimenting with new cooking techniques and recipes, here are a few of my latest ‘mustThe new Bosch industrihaves’ for maximizing effial-style ranges and rangeciency in the kitchen of tops are a great example 2021.” - sure to turn heads in any Put quality first. kitchen and also keep up If you ask me, there are with all that extra cooking! two keys to making good Prioritize health and food: great ingredients and wellness. quality appliances. Long-term mortgage rates flat; 30-year stays at 2.73% ASSOCIATED PRESS WASHINGTON — U.S. long-term mortgage rates were flat this week for a second straight week. Homeloan rates stayed near record lows as the economy, especially in the services sector, remains burdened by the coronavirus pandemic. Mortgage buyer Freddie Mac reported Thursday that the average rate on the benchmark 30-year fixed-rate home loan remained at last week’s 2.73%. By contrast, the rate stood at 3.47% a year ago. The average rate on 15-year fixed-rate loans, popular among homeowners seeking to refinance their mortgages, eased to 2.19% from 2.21%. The number of Americans seeking unemployment benefits fell slightly to 793,000 last week, the government reported Thursday, evidence that job cuts remain high despite a substantial decline in new confirmed viral infections.

Plan, organize and store for fewer trips to the market. Kitchen organization and fewer grocery runs start with a good list. US consumer credit rose a solid $9.7 billion in December ASSOCIATED PRESS WASHINGTON — U.S. consumers increased their borrowing in December by $9.7 billion, as Americans took out loans to buy autos or finance their educations. But credit card use declined for the third-consecutive month. The rise in total borrowing in December was down from a gain of $13.9 billion in November, the Federal Reserve reported Friday. The slowdown came as the category that includes credit cards fell by $2.95 billion in December. That category has been up only two months over the past year as households eased off their use of their cards in the midst of a pandemic-induced recession. The report showed that borrowing in the category that covers auto and student loans rose by $12.7 billion in December, slightly lower than the $14.6 billion gain in November. That category has fallen only once over the past 12 months.
