Annual ROTARY Club of Kapaa Various Rotary Club of Kapaa members assisted with directing the floats at this year’s Annual Lights on Rice Street Parade. This year’s parade had about 60 units with 3,000 performers.

Rotary Club of Kapaa members participate in the bi-annual beach cleanup and bridge painting at Lydgate Park. The Club has been supporting the Park for many years by providing ongoing maintenance and repairs, planting trees and helping to keep the Park beautiful.

Cool kids from the Kapaa Boys & Girls Club present an “oli” for STI Solar Kauai and the Kapaa Rotary Club members in appreciation of the generous gift of a solar air conditioner.

Providing Scholarships

Rotary Club of Kapaa members were invited to a special Luau event at the Boys & Girls Clubhouse in Kapaa that honored the Pacific Youth Foundation and the Rotary Club of Kapaa for their contributions to our youth. The Rotary Club of Kapaa built the Kapaa Boys and Girls clubhouse.

Our Rotary Club donated Christmas trees and lights to Mahelona Hospital, and decorated a section of the courtyard for their first Christmas Lights Extravaganza. We were also there caroling during the lighting ceremony.

Past Rotary Club President Ronald Lemay awarding scholarships to two students from Kauai Community College from a book fund created by the Club.
