he Kauai Humane Society took time out to show its appreciation to its volunteers, and used the opportunity to recruit additional volunteers to add to its roster of helpers, Saturday afternoon at The Kauai Beer Company on Rice Street in Lihue. Godrick and Suki were two of the adoptable animals that escorted the volunteers and staff of the Kipu facility, and added to the wearable line of products that were available for Kauai Beer Company patrons to browse and look over in support of the Kauai Humane Society. “This shows potential volunteers that they can arrange to have shifts at the same time as their friends,” said Mirah Horowitz, the KHS director. “Volunteering can be fun.”
