ith over 50 years of delighting audiences, Kauai Chorale will celebrate the holidays by presenting “The Colors of Christmas” at the Kauai Community College Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, with a second performance at the St. Regis Grand Ballroom at 5 p.m. Sunday. Conducted by Lois Ricciardi and accom-
panied by Virginia Shepherd, Kauai Chorale will perform holiday favorites including “Angels in Seven,” a special arrangement of Hark the Herald Angles Sing by Charles Wesley & Felix Medelssohn, arranged by Philip Kern. “The Colors of Christmas” by John Rutter and “Deck the Hall,” the Welsh traditional carol, arranged by Mack Wilberg will also add to the holiday festivities. Among the guest musicians for the evening will be Jill Simonson who will play with Virginia Sheppard in a four-handed

UKUIULA — The National Tropical Botanical Garden South Shore Visitor Center bristled with activity as the facility welcomed the public to its Holiday Craft Fair and open house. “The last one we hosted was in 2013,” said Ryan Buhk, South Shore Visitor Program manager. “Then, we were operating under the ongoing renovations to the visitor center and its surrounding gardens.
