THE GARDEN ISLAND

Waimea Town Celebration

Join us for a week-long 39th annual WTC FEBRUARY 13 - 20, 2016 Kaua‘i’s largest and oldest annual festival on the west side of the island. We celebrate our proud history and tight-knit community with over a week of cultural and recreational events! Whether you prefer being a spectator or want to get in on the action, Waimea Town Celebration offers something for everyone! Waimea Town will be filled with LIVE en-

tertainment, a Hawaiian rodeo, canoe regatta, a celebration for King Kaumuali‘i, a film festival, softball and 3-on-3 basketball tournaments, a fun run (10K, 5K, 2K), bike race, hat lei, ice cream eating and ‘ukulele contests, cultural exhibits all culminating in a two day ho‘olaule‘a with continuous LIVE entertainment on a big stage, local food booths, craft vendors, games, rides and a beer garden.

Ambassador of Aloha

WEDNESDAY, FEB. 17 • 6:30 P.M. WAIMEA THEATER

We will celebrate his actions of aloha at the Historic Waimea Theater beginning at 6:30 pm with 13 ambassadors of aloha from Seattle - the Neil Diamond tribute band, CHERRY CHERRY! Ticket price is $10 General Admission and available at the Box Office. For tickets and additional information contact Puni Patrick at (808) 651-5744 or aloha@waimeatowncelebration.com.
