Finally, Mr Edevlado Campregher, Quality Manager at Hergen, a manufacturer, gave his insight on his experience of going through the certification and pros and cons for their business.

Argentina sees disruption to O&G production at Vaca Muerta

Argentina’s oil and gas output experienced a decline between March and April following disruption to production sites in Neuquén. They were caused by protests by health workers and truck drivers, who demanded pay increases amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Demonstrations have blocked roads to fields at the Vaca Muerta formation, paralysing 45 rigs.

Brazil’s 17th bidding round in October

The National Petroleum Agency (ANP) has released the bidding rules for the upcoming 17th round for O&G concessions in Brazil. Scheduled to take place on 7 October, the bidding round will offer 92 offshore exploration blocks across the Campos, Pelotas, Santos and Potiguar basins.
