The EIC North & Central America team hopes that you are staying safe and healthy during this fall.
For our 14 August EIC Houston Coffee Break we were happy to put Amanda Duhon questions to our dynamic Chief Executive Officer, Stuart Broadley, providing his key insights from the fourth edition of EIC Survive and Thrive. Improving resilience, minimising risk, diversification and energy transition are strategies increasingly used by companies to survive the challenges of the market downturn and global pandemic.
On 28 August during our EIC Houston Coffee Break: Celebrating 25 Years webinar, the EIC was honoured to be joined by Richard Hyde, Her Majesty’s Consul General in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico and Oklahoma; Global Scot Derek Blackwood, James McLennan, President, British-America Business Council of Texas (BABC TX) and Leah Mayo, Executive Director of BABC TX. The EIC formalised and strengthened the relationship with the BABC by signing an MoU. Richard Hyde perfectly summarised: “It’s fantastic to see these two important organisations collaborating to keep the UK Texas trade relationship vibrant, relevant and strong.” Members of either organisation can enjoy attending events at other council’s member rates. The EIC looks forward to building on all its coming strengths to provide the very best support for its members for the next 25 years.
