Let’s dance! Get ready to feel the beat and learn a few trending TikTok dances! Dancers will learn choreography with Miss Allie from Art in Motion and have a chance to show off their dance moves through solo or small-group performances. Dance props will be on hand to give their TikTok dances some added pizzazz. Dancers will create a sweets bag from the ultimate candy buffet and refresh with lemonade while they cheer for each other’s performances. Dancers will also go home with some dance swag. Ready, set, DANCE!

Come by yourself or make plans with friends to join together – a great time awaits you. Our community is stronger and more connected when we “gather” all year long!

How/When Can You Purchase Spots? Online Sales Open Monday, May 8!

• Great Gathering “spots” will be available for purchase beginning Monday, May 8 through Saturday, May 13 on the auction site at https://langleyschool.ejoinme.org/2023Auction.

• Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

• On Monday, May 8, mobile bidding opens to all registered persons. Individuals who have provided a cell phone number will receive a “welcome” email and text with a personalized URL and may at that time purchase spots via mobile bidding. Spots will be available for purchase to registered persons until sold out or through Saturday, May 13 until such time as mobile bidding closes.

• Those not able to attend the event on May 13, but who would like to purchase a Great Gathering spot, may do so by registering at https://langley2023.ggo.bid/bidding/package-browse (click on the “Get Started” button).

• If all spots are not sold out at the close of the event on Saturday, May 13, remaining spots will be available for sale to the community on the auction site on Monday, May 15.

Join us this summer as Wolf Trap President and CEO Arvind Manocha leads us on an exclusive backstage tour of their recently renovated spaces, including artists’ areas, green rooms, and eating/recreation spaces. Join Langley’s littlest students for an afternoon game of duckpin bowling at Congressional Country Club. Congressional is one of the few venues in the area to offer this fun twist on bowling, where kids roll with a lighter wooden ball to knock down the pins. While the little ones play, parents will enjoy food and socializing. Both lunch and snacks will be provided. This event is ideal for rising kindergarten through third-graders, and we promise no ducks will be harmed during this gathering!
