AGM - The previously postponed AGM goes ahead this Friday 27th of January. Meeting at 8pm in the clubrooms. Anyone who is interested in helping the club to progress is very welcome to attend.
MEDAL PRESENTATION - Last Saturday evening the club gathered to honour the U13, U14 & U15 teams of 2022. It was a busy and productive year for these young men who accomplished great things! The U13s were the winners of the county league div 4, North Kerry league div 1 and the North Kerry A Championship. This team only lost one game all year and put in some magnificent performances throughout. All the boys received their three medals. Our U14s won the Super Touch div 2 competition and received their medal.
Our U15 young men also had a super season, the highlight of which was winning the Kerry Féile div 3 title and going on to represent Kerry in the regional Munster playoff’s held in Mallow. There they reached the final after some very fine performances across the competition. This team had gotten within a kick of a ball to win some crucial games in the North Kerry league and Championship and can count themselves unlucky not to have had more silverware on display! No doubt that there is plenty more good things to come from these young men in the future!! This team got great support from the community on their Feile journey from McCarthys Bar Finuge, Maurice Lyons Heating & Plumbing, Stacks Londis Lixnaw, JJ Walsh Butchers & Bar Lixnaw, Brownes Agri Contractors Mountcoal, Tom Kelly Scaffolding, Lixnaw GAA & Cronins Cider.
On the night, Kerry All Ireland winner and All Star Jason Foley presented the medals to each player individually and we are very grateful to Jason for giving up his time. Hopefully he will be an inspiration to many young footballers around North Kerry to go ahead and represent Kerry at the highest level. Thank you to all parents involved for their support each year and bringing the boys to training & games. Finally a big thank you to Liam Kelly Photography for capturing the event as he does with all club activity.
KERRY LADIES - Well done to the Kerry Ladies who got their league campaign off to a winning start in a tight finish. Best of luck for the year ahead especially our club representatives Niamh Carmody, Louise Galvin, Caitríona Dillon and Patrice Diggins.

Our Lady Of Mount Carmel
Oh, most beautiful flower of Mount Carmel, fruitful vine, splendor of Heaven.
Blessed Mother of the Son of God; Immaculate Virgin, assist me in my necessity. Oh, Star of the Sea, help me and show me you are my Mother. Oh, Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and Earth, I humbly beseech you from the bottom of my heart to succour me in my necessity (Mention your request here)
There are none that can withstand your power. Oh, Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee (3 times). Sweet Mother, I place this cause in your hands (3 times). Amen
This prayer is never known to fail. It is to be said for 3 consecutive days. Publication on granting of the favour must be promised and done. T.C.
The Miracle Prayer
Dear Heart of Jesus in the past I have asked many favours.
This time I ask you this special one, (mention favour). Take it dear heart of Jesus and place it within your heart where your father sees it. Then in his merciful eyes it will become your own favour not mine. Amen.
Say this prayer three times for three days and your favour will be granted. Never been known to fail. Must promise publication of prayer. M.B.
