From the editor For the first time in the award’s history, The Architects’ Journal was named IBP Magazine of the Year in 2012. It proved to be a year of firsts – we launched the iPad edition; a free online CPD portal; the AJ Women in Architecture campaign and awards; and the More Homes, Better Homes campaign. We also launched AJ Publications, to produce titles such as the Royal Academy and Forgotten Spaces supplements, monographs and books on Westfield and the Olympic Park. We’ve increased our daily news and buildings coverage online, with more on planning, sustainability and regulatory changes – all to serve you better. Thank you for your continued support of the independent architectural press. We have an exciting year planned, starting with two fantastic Small Projects issues. Roll on 2013.
