Introductory Letter Hello New Jersey District! My name is Latifa Ali from Elizabeth High School Key Club, and I am privileged to introduce myself as Lieutenant Governor of Division 14. I have been a Key Club member for two years and I can strongly say that it has changed my life for the better. Before I share my goals as Lieutenant Governor for the 20142015 Service Year, I would like you to know a few things about me. My passion for service began long before I even became aware of Key Club. I spent most of my time volunteering at local nursing homes and hospitals such as Trinitas Hospital and local food banks through my school's community service Y.E.S. Program. I still continue to volunteer but, rest assured, I always make time for Key Club. I currently serve as Treasurer of my Junior Class and participate in several school activities, including Mock Trial and Student Government. I am also involved in my school’s Advisory Board as a representative for our Key Club. During the minimal free time I get, I enjoy reading novels. I feel that my participation in all these activities strengthens my character and demonstrates the passion I have for dedicating service to my home, school, and community. My main goals for this service year are as follows:

-Family and my division.

-Family Club.

I'm all for the motto "Two heads are better than one." I believe one can accomplish more when working with a group of people. Though my goals seem plentiful, I know they’ll be accomplished with the help and cooperation from you. Remember that each one of us can make a difference, but together we make a change. Feel free to contact me anytime. I’m open to all questions. With that being said, I cannot wait to start working with you for an enjoyable service year. Yours in caring and service, Latifa Ali Lieutenant Governor of Division 14 New Jersey District of Key Club International

District Convention 2014 was incredible. Key clubbers from the New Jersey District celebrated the end of the 21032014 service year with uttermost joy and excitement. Through all the workshops, dinners, dances, and meal packages, I am proud to say that DCON 2014 was a huge success!

Spring Regional Training Conference Hello, Division 14 Key Clubbers! It's Regional Training Conference time again! For anyone who is not familiar, RTCs are informational seminars where you can learn about fundraising projects, how to improve public speaking, how to be a successful officer, and much more. Free breakfast and lunch are also served. This year, the Spring Northern RTC will be at Roxbury High School on May 4th from 9am to 1pm. Each club should send at least one representative. General members, advisors, and officers are all encouraged to attend! Newly elected officers must attend at least one RTC during their term in order to be distinguished at the end of the service year. The more representatives who come to this event, the more information your club can learn and apply later in the service year! Feel free to reach out to me if there are any difficulties with transportation, as I can help coordinate with clubs throughout the division. This year’s theme is Greek/Roman mythology, so get ready to become a God of Service with the rest of the NJ District! I hope to see you there!

International Convention 2014

This summer, the 71st Annual Key Club International Convention will take place in Anaheim, CA July 2-6, 2014. Lucky for you, key clubbers from the New Jersey District will enjoy the beautiful and sunny California from June 30 - July 6, 2014. Every club should send at least two delegates and advisors, although many clubs send all their officers and other key members. Make plans now to attend! More information about ICON are available on www.keyclub.org but also feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
