From those working behind the scenes to our front line workers, the staff is here to help enhance your Club experience. Elizabeth Wong

Joining The Arbutus Club in April of this year, Elizabeth is our experienced Human Resources guru. Overseeing staff recruitment, hiring, onboarding, promotions, departures, and employee engagement, she has seamlessly integrated herself with the team. Elizabeth thrives on creating a positive staff culture. "My favourite part about Human Resources is employee/staff engagement", she shares. "I enjoy checking in with staff and collecting feedback about ways we can improve. I also love helping managers celebrate employees who go above and beyond in their positions." When Elizabeth isn't working her magic at the Club, she enjoys paddle boarding, zumba, spending time with family/friends, TV bingeathons, and indulging in Vancouver's culinary scene.

Ainsley Thompson

Another new addition to staff this past summer is Ainsley Thompson, who comes with a wealth of knowledge in horticulture, a can-do attitude, and a green thumb. She's eager and ready to get the gardens in tip-top shape for the winter season. "I’m really looking forward to observing the grounds as the seasons change", says Ainsley. "Also, to begin planning future projects that will add to and improve upon the already existing gardens." Ever the outdoor enthusiast, Ainsley loves activities full of adventure. From hiking local trails to mountain climbing, she always seems to find herself amongst nature. Though, we hear she doesn't mind the indoors for a good concert too. Say hello next time you see her tending to the gardens. ♦
