Commencing October 16th, 2010 at 10:00am at the Holiday Inn North, Lexington, Kentucky We are proud to present the first of two sales of many items personally found by Mr. George Green. Mr. Green (1920-2007), was a prolific hunter and collector of Native American Artifacts found in Western Nebraska and Northwestern Kansas. The collection spanned numerous locations on private ranches and farms, including the famed ‘Tin Camp’ Ranch which produced a number of excellent Paleo Points as well as phenomenal gem-grade birdpoints. Additionally featured in the sale are items which have been in the Green Family for over 100 years including a fantastic Wisconsin Winged Bannerstone, a well-woven corn-husk bag, and much more. Also featured in this auction is a wide selection of quality consigned, stone, slate, and pottery artifacts, meticulously culled by our staff for quality, collectability, and authenticity. Many of the items have been previously papered by top authenticators such as Jackson, Davis, Stermer, Rogers, Dickey, Bennett, Berner, and Perino.
