DIY workshop: To make radical poetry from home | editions
The two digital editions (zine & catalog) include all the collected poetic artworks through the open call to participate in the "DIY workshop: To make radical poetry from home", which took place during the Covid-19 pandemic, from April 24 to April 30, 2020. The Athens Zine Bibliotheque in collaboration with art historian Foteini Salvaridi, invited everyone to participate, from their own space and in their own time, in a DIY workshop inspired by the historical Dada movement (see workshop's manual). Those interested were encouraged to create and send via email complex, personal, poetic works, selecting the linguistic and artistic elements that would make them up. A total of 90 artworks were gathered - from collages and compositions of ephemeral "poetry", to videos and performances and with a variety of materials and techniques - from 73 participations both from Greece and abroad (Cyprus, United Kingdom, France, Austria, Spain and Canada). #DIYpoetryFromHome
